Dooley wasn't the one who couldn't run the ball. He was right not to pass on the last possession of regulation.

He wasn't the one being penalized (sometimes unjustly), nor was he missing tackles, missing extra points, getting stupid penalties, or throwing the pic.

You don't like the hire. We understand. He's our coach. As long as he is wearing Tennessee orange, I'm going to support him.

Dooley has become the next les miles, except he has absolutely no talent like lsu has. What a joke, i have been a vol fan for 23 years, and he absolutely blew the game, this is ridiculous. I dont care who you are, how in the hell are recruits excited about a finish like that? Come here guys, you'll get real close to winning, but we will make sure you get your guts wrenched.

Dooley did a hell of a lot with the talent that was given to him, he did a hell of a job and with a break in the LSU game and now this game then we would have had 8 wins.

Its not that hard to finish out the game. Do it dooley, if your the man like everyone says you are. All he has done this year is show us 2 games that we should have one and we have ended up losing.

And we wouldn't have beaten anyone with a winning record if Kiffin had stayed. We played 16 freshmen this season. I don't like losing either. Imagine pulling for a rebuilding Tennessee team while living with a Bama wife.

But I am realistic.

if anyone is trying to justify dooley for this game, they are wrong, absolutely in denial. im a vol fan like everyone else, but he blew this game. he is ultimately responsible for how this team plays and prepares, and it just blows my mind how he lets a team come back with that much time left. its undisciplined playing.

fulmer / kiffin left dooley with a bare cupboard--little talent to work with. 2011 should be better, but not great.

We'd all be hammered on Bourbon Street or chowing on peyote in Phoenix right now had Kiffin not left. Dooley really let this team of future All-Pros down with this horrible coaching.

i agree the guy is a bad coach, but what are you gonna do, we have to give him 3 more years to run down the program before the rest of volnation that doesnt know better will follow suit. we are down for a decade atleast

Please tell me you are kidding. Look what Kiffin did with the talent rich USC (7-5). There is no discernible coaching difference between Kiffin and Dooley at this point. There is no way we would have been in the Sugar or Fiesta this year!
