I recall watching Spurrier in a few postgame shows during his time at SCar, looking unhappy and very uncomfortable. It took him several years of solid recruiting to get that program competitive.

South Carolina is in a much better place right now with their program.....Im not talking about history, Im talking about right now.

Everyone has an opinion, some will still not like CDD if we win 10 games next season, they will always find something wrong with how it was done and will think its wrong because it wasnt done the way they wouldve done it. I personally like him and think he can get us back to prominance once again. I may be wrong, but I also may be right. We are all a bit restless, agitated, frustrated, impatient right now and just need something positive to feed on. Hopefully that will come soon.

just to be clear, Mike hamilton got us into this situation with his hirings after firing Fulmer....
You hire a loser from the WAC, you get what you pay for

just to be clear, you evidently don't understand the process. Hamilton facilitated hires, but didn't make the final decision on them.

Of course, we all already know would rather have Fulmer back. Too bad you don't realize that Fulmer is the one that got us into this mess by running the program into the ditch.

And neither one of those programs were remotely close to being as decimated at UT was in terms of talent and depth. Not in the same ballpark of remotely close

It's pretty clear hamilton screwed up the "process", seeing as how he was fired too...and I'm not tied to having Fulmer back with the program, I'm just waiting to get someone better

Actually Alabama was just as bad or worse when NS got there as we were DD first year. They had NCAA problems, 4 coaches in 7 years and no one drafted that year. Difference is NS brought in a couple top 3 classes and upped the talent level. His second year all the impact players were fr, sph, and JuCos he brought in besides Javier Arenas and Andre Smith.

The whole DC situation and Tennessee football in general is a joke right now. It will stay this way until we have a competent HC. Dooley sucks, point blank.
