Fisher says "I plan on being here for a long time"... sounds very familiar like I heard someone say almost this exact same thing. Oh yeah from Kiffin and we all know how that turned out.. Not saying he will leave FSU .. He really onlly has clemson to compete with in the ACC so he knows he will be at or near the top of his conference every year. Just saying that this statement is essentially meaningless.

Punch was a sideline reporter for 15 years and did play by play for ESPN for ABC and ESPN for two years. I am pretty sure he called the 95 UT AL game where Manning and Kent broke the losing streak to Alabama.

The guys is from NC and grew up around racing so he started concentrating on that.

He knows a helluva lot more than Jimmy Hyams.

What channel. I listen to XM almost all day and it stays on the sports stations. I may have not had it on the channel he's on, but I would think I would have run across it at one point or another. It does stay on the college sports station the most though.

Punch also has been ESPN's expert for discussion of medical issues, has called play-by-play for college basketball and football, and has served as a sideline reporter for college football.
