That’s exactly where I am. I would be very disappointed if Carolina loses today, but not shocked.

And, very strangely, I’m dreading what comes next if we win. For either team, this isn’t your average loss to the hated rival. This lives forever. And while I’m glad to see the Heels playing their best basketbalL of the season right now, Duke is too. And duke is far more talented than we are.

Nevertheless…

So conflicted. I want Carolina to win today because I always want them to win. This season has been a success either way, even if they lose today. I want them to win and then go on and beat Duke next weekend. I want to watch that game, but I also want to see John Mulaney in person. I want to watch both, but can't watch both, can't see John Mulaney later, can't get my money back for those tickets, but can't not watch UNC/Duke in a Final Four matchup and can't expect that I could not watch it and not find out the result before I had a chance to watch it on DVR. Fu..........k.

It’s not Richard Pryor coming back from the dead. It’s John Mulaney. Unless Olivia Munn is up there nude for his entire act you can’t miss the game. Also, John Mulaney getting Olivia Munn pregnant or even having the opportunity to get Olivia Munn pregnant would be a bigger stretch than St Peters beating Kentucky, Carolina, Duke and Kansas or Villanova to win the National title.

That would absolutely call for an instant case of the [insert contagious sickness here].

As much as I dread it provided they win it’ll be a once in a life deal. I don’t see it being a game one situation Davis has learned from that and I don’t see it being game two either. I’m really leaning towards a late defensive breakdown to win it late typical Carolina fashion. A Duke player running off the court the crowd is stunned and they hold that over our heads for years and years.

I don’t want to say they’re playing bad but I don’t think they’ve been as battle tested as Duke. They played UCLA in a boxing match but other than that whos really tested them with a comparable team? A sense of false hope if you will.

Outside of that which ever way this goes Davis has an incredible standard set to live up to and if K wins good luck to John following that. Talk about a way to end it and hand over they keys…

If by some miracle that happened I wouldn’t be upset. I’d be happy for them and point out that there were a lot of teams that sucked horribly.

And where would that put St Peters in preseason? Lol

I expected a bias game but I didn’t expect them to allow NC to mug Saint and then call phantom fouls on Saint. One reason I hate watching ncaam. The refs control way too many outcomes.

This is tough all the way around. Obviously the winner gets likely lifetime bragging rights over such a win. Especially Carolina, who would get to tout the two huge wins over K in his last season.

But regardless of who wins, they have to come down off that high to play in the actual championship game just two nights later. Against a formidable foe regardless of who wins between KU and Nova

This will be the most hyped college basketball game ever.... The undercard is a pretty good matchup too, but nobody will be talking about Kansas and Villanova this week. Some will disagree, but I think it's a much needed shot in the arm for college basketball. Hopefully, it will be a competitive game.
