Griffin has so much untapped potential. He has a 25 point game in him. He reminds me of Winslow for the 2015 squad.
Roach is definitely playing at a different level. His confidence is sky high… he just needs to keep playing within himself. I don’t want him to go into hero ball. But he has the ability to completely control the game and the tempo. Keels is erratic, but he and Moore are very effective when they play downhill. I’d prefer Keels not to take outside shots although he can randomly hit one.
To your point, I would have Roach, Griffin and Banchero overloaded to one side. If they double on Banchero, Griffin and Roach are our best outside threats. Maybe Moore.
The other key is Duke’s defense. It’s come back over the past 4 games. If they can keep UNC under 45%, they win. If it ticks up around 50%, I’m holding my breath. In Duke’s losses, OSU shot 48%, Miami shot 46%, FSU shot 36% (turnovers killed us), UVA shot 48%, UNC shot 49%, and VT shot 50%. Take care of the ball and make them take contested shots. Usually a recipe for success.
