Does the concern for black ice tomorrow night into Saturday morning sound exciting?

In all seriousness, after looking at the 0z model runs tonight, most of the snow will be north and West of the valley. Could see a dusting, but the bigger concern is black ice with the rapidly falling temps and wet roads. Higher elevations could see 1-3 inches.

Edit: I almost forgot. I do not think we'll see an ice storm in East TN with this system, so there's some good news.

Thanks Nerd, its been a crazy past few months. The clinic called and will have to reschedule. She is kinda disappointed, she hates the chemo but wants to get it done as quick as possible.

Yeah, glad I didn't have to go in to work today. Its finally transitioned to snow.

My ice storm was mainly for West Tennessee. Btw.

Temps dropped more quickly than previously thought. But there is a dry slot.

GEM showing 1-3 for most of the area. It’s one model but it picks up the low in NC.

It’s one model and we are in a now cast rather than model watching.

All this cold weather has been a total waste this winter..if it's not going to snow I would rather keep the 60s

So the wife and I live in Powell and want to go see a movie tonight. Would be out of the movie around 10.

Is this a bad idea? Like will the roads be too frozen to drive on?
