Just to emphasize, there is a tornado possible tag on this warning. This storm is just now firing up, so it could become tornado warned if the rotation gets stronger.

was located near Greeneville, moving east at 25 mph.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

As bad as the storms have been, we were fortunate that it came in between 1 and 2:00. Had it started to come into East TN around this time in peak heating, it would have been even worse.

Loudon got hit very hard! Driving home, Lenoir city and Farragut look largely unscathed.

It did. I just drove by on Pellissippi and there are tons of trees down, including across power lines.

I know stuff can be unpredictable, but does anyone else in Knoxville think it’s weird that we never got a tornado warning alert? I did get a dangerous wind alert, but that was odd too.
