Anyone in North Knoxville want a sleet storm during the day on Monday? Lol.

Potential for a little snow tonight..I highly doubt we see anything from this clipper as they dissolve over the plateau but it's still possible

I'll throw this in here. There's a small chance for some freezing drizzle to mix in with the snow in the valley, so some roads could have slick spots in the morning.

Here's a story that's one of the reasons I have a hard time believing in TWC when it comes to winter weather. When I was in 6th grade, there was predicted to be a big winter storm for East Tennessee. At first, most news outlets said 2-4 inches, while TWC said 4-6 inches. When the storm was a day away, the local guys back off on the snow amounts and said 1-2 inches. TWC bumped up their totals for Knoxville to 6-8 inches. On that day, I chose to believe in TWC, as I thought they must know something the local news guys don't. The next day, I woke up to a dusting. After that day, I took whatever TWC said in regards to Snow with a lot of grains of salt.

I gotta say, the 0z GFS run is a step in the right direction. The low isn't as strong and it shifted south. Still not where we want it to be, but that is an improvement from the last 3 runs.

Yeah I agree it looks better..I was just hoping to see some purple in the valley on that run

We should be able to start using the NAM tomorrow evening.
