Oh..mine was clear today before the snow started. It got just enough sun to melt it yesterday. There were a lot of places in the yard that still had a inch or two.
Yeah, I saw that. I'm worried that we might be getting more than that. The fact that it's colder now than what was expected concerns me when the heavier precipitation rolls in.
Does it look like that snow line will stay a little south of us here in Harlan county? If it sleets now it is going to be a mess. The roads have a lot of snow and there are still a ton of idiots out on the hwy. These steep runs combined with these rock walls right up to the road, are unforgiving of stupidity.
Couple of questions, is there still a chance Knoxville sees any snow accumulation at all? And are you leaning towards ice or no ice as of right now?
I want to have an idea of what I can expect for tomorrow.
This is what I was thinking earlier when the moisture started being pulled into this system in west Tennessee. The only question I had was if the temps would support frozen precip. Looks like that is very likely. Could get interesting...
Todd Howell showed .05 to .20 of ice for knoxville. Also said .20 to .30 North of knox. Which included West to Crossville and East to Morristown.
David Aldrich said with the valley effect the cold air would get trapped and be around longer in the valley before the warm finally pushes it out tomorrow.
