Ironic thing about this system..we thought there would be plenty of moisture and the temps might be too high..really it was just the opposite..temps were fine just not enough moisture

Temperatures went form 26 to 30 degrees in a matter of minutes here in Crossville. Clouds are still as thick as they were, but it did warm up very quickly and unexpectedly.

Calling this system a bust has to be a matter of perspective. From where I'm sitting it is definitely not a bust. It has been snowing hard for a little over two hours now. We have a little over 3 inches now and the snow is really comin down still.

It lays up nice on my deck rail. It makes it easy to measure. Right at 4 inches now. Still comin down good.

Sorry, guys. I was on my Valentine's day date. Honestly, I'm not completely surprised that I missed this forecast so far. I said it before, but this was an extremely difficult system to accurately forecast. Hopefully, we won't get too much ice tonight and in the morning.

On the bright side, we'll have a brief period of warm weather this weekend and next week.

Oh..mine was clear today before the snow started. It got just enough sun to melt it yesterday. There were a lot of places in the yard that still had a inch or two.

Still need to keep an eye out for Ice. It doesn't take much freezing rain to cause problems on roads and potentially knock out power.

A classic blizzard setup in many years and not even a trace of snow. Us knoxville snow lovers have no luck.
