Here's David Aldrich's updated snow amounts. I'll take a few inches and be happy, as long as there's no ice.

It looks like I'm screwed according to this.. Right in the dead middle of that 4-8.

In the hourly prediction temps on WBIR and on NWS at 2pm they are showing 29 or 30 degrees. Actual temperature is 25.

Nice. The radar shows it in Halls but not seeing it falling now. Not saturated enough to reach the ground yet.

that's strange..we are just the opposite..radar showed dry patch but it is still coming down and now the temp is 21..they missed the temp part badly..but that's what the models showed

Yes, it would appear temps in the central and northern valley will remain below freezing until mid-morning.

If it kept snowing it might...its 30 in Nashville but 48 in Memphis..I think this is what happened last February when we got the big snow

We're going to need more moisture in this system soon or accumulations will be lighter than expected and a little further north.

Exactly right... however, there is moisture being pulled in on the back side of this system in West Tennessee right now. If it can continue and stay together as it moves across the state it could get here while temps could support frozen precip.

the power hasn't got knocked off for more than 30 minutes at a time yet this year,could this be the one ? lol

We are getting hammered in Harlan right now. It's snowing so hard you can't see the mountains. Already an inch and a half, and it just started a little over an hour ago.
