Lots of rumors spreading through the meteorology world that this will be a very active spring.

Please, take warnings and watches seriously. You never know when that tree beside your house is gonna fall or if a brief spin up will occur.

Looks like we might get lucky and not see any storms reach severe levels.

I'm kinda keeping my eye out for Thursday/Friday, but i think the threat will be greater south of us.

For our west TN folks, Thursday looks like a classic setup for severe weather. Currently, there's an enhanced risk on day 3.

Tuesday is setting up to be nasty!

Thursday looks like a slight risk. I'll keep monitoring it though.

Tuesday is a little too far ahead for me to be looking at. Thursday is shaping up to be dangerous weather in Middle and West Tennessee, while the low level moisture won't be enough for anything more than an isolated severe threat in the East TN valley.

Agreed on Thursday.

I'll say this, the South will be in a very active severe weather pattern for this week and perhaps next week. I don't think East TN will be in any of the bullseye of the storms, but west and middle TN has a pretty good chance to be.

Much of west and middle TN from Memphis to Nashville is now under a moderate risk from the SPC's day 2 outlook. Thursday looks to be really active.

Yeah, I'd bet they close schools. It's not looking good. Just be aware. Take the watches and warnings seriously.

Looks like there won't be a lot of energy available with some of the storms tonight. Still have strong winds aloft though. Main concern should be straight line wind damage

What's the weather look like between 9pm and 5am for the Knoxville area?

Small hail and wind damage. Tornado Cannot be ruled out. It all depends on the speed of the storms . As the cold front pushed east the storms will intensify with the strong winds aloft and it's moving at 60MPH
