Tornado Warning Alert!!!!!!

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Southeastern Cumberland County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 915 PM CDT

* At 845 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Lake Tansi, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Cumberland County, including the following locations:
Crab Orchard, Lake Tansi and Cumberland Mountain State Park.

* At 959 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles northeast of Huntsville to 6 miles southeast
of Wartburg to Midtown, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Clinton, Alcoa, La Follette, Maynardville,
Farragut, Oliver Springs, New Tazewell, Louisville, Tazewell,
Plainview, Jacksboro, Harrogate, Jellico, Caryville, Halls, Blaine,
Lake City and Norris.

extending from near Wilkerson to 7 miles west of Clinton to near
Oak Ridge, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Morristown, Sevierville, Jefferson City, Newport, Gatlinburg,
Dandridge, Rutledge, Pigeon Forge, Bean Station, White Pine, New
Market, Baneberry, Parrottsville, Russellville, Blaine, Pittman
Center, Del Rio, Bird Crossing, Buffalo Springs and Fairgarden.
 
Went through here just now and other than lightning and a couple of wind bursts wasn't that bad...we didn't even lose satellite

You're lucky. I lost Satellite for 20 minutes. It looked to me like the storms started to weaken after they moved out of Knox County.
 
I watched a sub station or transformer explode right out back about an hour and half ago... Impressive. My buddy down the road said he thinks a small tornado hit northshore+choto area with some decent damage.

he might be right, we had one here awhile back came down destroyed a donut shop and a Chinese restaurant and went straight back up - was the oddest thing

That's where there was some broad rotation, so it's possible.
 
My buddy sent some pictures off of Choto, big bradford pears snapped off at the ground. I know those are weak trees but that takes incredible force to snap a mature tree at ground level and blow it down the road. Rural Metro says 100+mph downbursts in the area.
