Eating and Drinking in Knoxville (merged)

Has anyone ate at Little Tokyo Cafe off of Chapman? I serve there and was just wondering what you all thought of it.

Anyone else excited about Brazeiros opening? Been awhile since I've eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse but I'm looking forward to doing it again. Opening mid September next to PF Chang's. Gauchos rock.

i've been wanting to eat at a brazilian steakhouse for pretty much ever since a friend told me me about them.

brazeiros is chain? tell me more.

had mi mi's cafe on sat. very good food and great service.[/QUOTE

Mimi's actually used to be a local socal restaurant. One of the four original founders sons is a UT Grad, and my former roommate.

They sold to Bob Evans about 7 or so years ago, and they are poppin up all over now.

Menu has changed. Pretty good breakfast stop.

We ate at Fogo de Chao in Buckhead last New Year's. One of the best (and biggest) meals I've had in a while. I look forward to the Brazilian offering in Knoxville.

ya, Fogo de whatever is the brazilian I ate at aswell....in memphis. it was fairly good.

Ate there a year or two ago in Atlanta. It was just ok. Texas de Brazil is hands down the finest Brazilian steakhouse around. I've eaten at the location in Orlando twice, and it blew Fogo away. I believe they have a location in Memphis as well.

Prepare yourself for meat sweats.

Brazeiros is now open for dinner. Post if you try it out. I'll most likely go next weekend. Give them a couple weeks to work the kinks out.

We ate at Echo in Bearden Friday night with friends, half-owned by the chef at Seasons, I believe. Fantastic meal -- the highlight was probably my wife's Bison Strip, although my lamb and the oysters Bienville were right there, too. Our server was a Kentucky boy (and proud of it), but extremely helpful, attentive, (and entertaining!). Recommended highly with a rich-in-flavor, moderately-priced, and diverse menu.
