The Kindle covers with a light are expensive too.

I thought that's what he had. Best Buy had the original nook, cover, light and a warranty for $195. Cover was decent, I needed something with more protection though. Wenger (Swiss army knives) had one with shock proof padding for $30. The nook setup is really nice. I'll prolly get a light soon.

I got a Nook Wi-Fi today. I've previously been using my HTC Evo with FBReader to read books. I never even considered asking for one of these. I can't wait for it to get done charging. I also got $45 in B&N gift card. This e-ink sounds a bit fishy, though. Does anyone know if you can import .epub files or other file types (.pdf?) to the Nook?
