Just face it: the dude is a Russian intelligence agent. And has been for quite some time.

Also honest question...how do we know China and Russia have this info? We just have to take the word of intelligence officials or is there actual hard evidence?

Does anyone want to talk about the nearly a million Pentagon papers that Snowden gave to Russian and Chinese intelligence, or should we just keep pretending like he's the classical American democratic hero? A veritable Shane, if you will.

You don't believe the government has reason to paint him in a negative light regardless of truth?

Well, we could start with the numerous (not so coincidentally targeted) strategic hacks each of those venerable nations' intelligence agencies have netted against our intelligence community in the past couple years as proof.

I'm actually on your side philosophically, but it's just clear as daylight that Snowden is and has been (from the start) a Russian agent. I'm not quite sure why our govt. has refused to admit him as such officially yet, but I guess it may be related to our unwillingness to admit yet another embarrassment out of many, in what has become one of the most hijinks-ridden intelligence communities in history.

If ALL he did was rat out the spying on US citizens that's one thing..... But we don't know what all he's done.... Why would he be all chatty with Russia and China?

This makes no sense to me. The government has every incentive to make him seem like a villain. The egg is already on their face.
