Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

My policy: you don't support abortion, don't have one; you don't support gay marriage, don't have one. For the party that talks constantly about "freedom" and "liberty", they sure do like to stick their noses in business that has nothing to do with them. Mind your ****ing business.

But that isn't where the GOP is right now.
Don't want a vax don't get one. Don't want to wear a mask don't wear one. One day you'll realize this is just tribal warfare over the power to control your life.

Republicans just need to focus on the economy and responsible government and stop worrying so much about the culture wars and other ******** that makes them unpalatable to so many moderates.

Same with Democrats. Their virtue-signaling agenda is just as bad as Republican’s culture war agenda.

I cant believe Gloria Johnson won in Knoxville. I guess the influx of Californians is starting to do it’s damage.

Is either party really happy with the results? Republicans may have underperformed, but they will still take the house and could still take the senate.

To me there are two states that going to suffer the most:
Pennsylvania - First Oz was a terrible candidate. He got beat by an ultra-liberal, trust fund baby, stroke survivor still in recovery .
Second they better get used to the idea that Fetterman will vote against fracking in the Senate. Jobs will be permanently lost. He is a rubber stamp.
Michigan - Whitmer . I am amazed she survived. Enjoy four more years of suck. At least she is term limited. Dishonesty must be a virtue,
Google "learned helplessness" in order to understand the Michigan vote.

It’s not where the liberals are either

If you are anything but a white man, you need to get the f out of texas, and get the f out of florida. You are nothing but cattle there. Just pack your bags and get out. You will be better of. They are trying to kill you.

Getting cranked up with your tin foil hat early.

I never once said the Feds should be forcing anything. If a private company you work for had a Covid policy, that is between you and your employer. If you couldn't walk in to a store without a mask, that is on you for not adhering to what that private business allows. Judging from the gay cake incident on here, I was under the impression that companies can do what they want.

I hope Trump picks every single GOP candidate in 2024, including himself for president. LOL
Trump endorsees' results vs. desantis. Pretty clear which white fascist christo-nationalist the GOP needs to get behind.

There was going to be divided government, regardless. But, for a number of reasons, the country is not in the midst of some massive shift to the GOP many expected.

The debate is over the reasons:

Weak individual GOP candidates in key races;
Trump fatigue;
Economic anxiety is real but not felt to be the fault of one party;
Dem get out the vote effective;
Demographics continue to change and to create permanent Dem shift;
Abortion rights a key to female voting;
And on and on.

Aside from economy not the fault of one party I feel like you nailed it LG
