Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

Both parties guilty of not putting much thought into who they trot out, more so the Republicans.
Kind of reminds me of UT rolling Dooley out late 2012 and Lyle in 2017. Makes me want to vomit.

The democrats rolled out the Dooley and Lyle of candidates. Fetterman was the Schiano but the guy still won. There is a lot of debate about him hiding until the final weeks but if the voters already cast their vote for the guy without knowing a health status that's on them.

I think the most likely explanation for last night is a large number of Republicans took those "back the blue" signs too literally.

If you are anything but a white man, you need to get the f out of texas, and get the f out of florida. You are nothing but cattle there. Just pack your bags and get out. You will be better of. They are trying to kill you.
This post is just like when adults are talking and a kid butts in to say something completely off topic and silly and the adults say to stop interrupting.

You can’t win a statewide election with just white male votes. I suspect you know this, but would rather portray yourself as a ****ing idiot.

I get it. But going from a .4% win in 2018 to a 19 point win 4 years later has to mean at least a little.

It means a lot. People trust a leader. He got votes he didn't get 4 years ago. Combine that with Rubio's margin.

This. It is really stunning. Record high inflation. Crime back to numbers we haven't seen in decades. Many have lost double digits in their 401K. Foreign policy is chaotic. The worst border crisis we've ever had.

You have to wonder who are these people voting for these clowns and if they are not impacted by any of these issues.

I do think weak candidates from the GOP side have something to do with it but in other cases the close House races were just enough for many of the democrats to hold on in some cases.
Look how many Georgia voters must have checked the box for Kemp, but not for Herschel. That is very telling about what a weak candidate he is.

Lol well not to get too personal but I have a sleeping disorder. Not unusual for me to be up days at a time. Sadly no drugs involved.

On another note, I said we wouldn't find out anything else last night once it got really late and we didn't. The totals have changed some in the Nevada and Arizona races. I'm guessing the remaining vote favors the GOP candidates we just don't know how much. I think Georgia is a runoff but I haven't checked how those numbers changed this morning.

But yet Warnock can't put him away. I understand the jab, but seems Ralph has his own struggles with voters. Not sure a run off is in his best interest against Walker knowing they could be the deciding senate vote.

Herschel is a weak candidate but so is Warnock. The difference is the democrats would vote for a blind monkey if there is a D beside the name. Some of these candidates prove it. Hochul, Whitmer, Fetterman, Murray, etc....
