Hopefully what happens is that this results in them being stuck in their cells for 23 hours/day instead of getting out to do some work. F 'em. They are in jail for a reason. It ain't supposed to be a vacation.Hard labor for the incarcerated is hardly slavery. It's completely reasonable that some rights are forfeited when serving time for criminal offenses. Coupled with some life changing training for the outside. Otherwise you perpetuate the same gang behavior that got them there. THey just get better at it.
And I'll bet ya a dollar or doughnut that it ain't the prisoners that were complaining about this.
