Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

If you’re talking about making it 4 days I’m totally fine with that. But of course that isn’t really on the table.

And the opposition to making Election Day a holiday would have nothing to do with cost. I suspect you know that.

It has everything to do with cost. Why should employers be forced to give a paid day off to vote? Someone has to foot the bill for that.

Yes he does. His policy ideas and vision are good, but he is cringeworthy. You don't rile up the other side when you're not on the ballot. As a matter of fact you don't rile up the other side unless it's a policy related matter. The fact that he started this drip of being about him prior to the midterms was not a good idea. Then the ridiculous namecalling with Desantis is wearing thin on people. If people like MTG start to run off at the mouth about Desantis he will lose more support. There's a way to do things.
I will still disagree. He is an American and is entitled to free speech. Some people on the other side are never going to support him no matter how polite he is. I mean look at what many democrats are already saying about Desantis. Plus as far as I am concerned democrats threw professionalism out the window before and during his presidency.

Now I am a little bit skeptical about Trump. Especially considering the fact he never drained the swamp like he said. Someone needs to get into the White House and not surround themselves with establishment politicians. Which is what I think will happen if Desantis wins the presidency as well. Plus both of them were big advocates of the vax.

I will be honest I did not vote this time around. I was not excited to go vote for Bill Lee or Chuck Fleishman and there were really no third party or independent candidates that were worth voting for in my opinion either. And I sure as heck was not voting for any democrat here.

Had a buddy go to work at a company and they wanted to show how woke they were and made juneteenth a paid holiday……by taking away their Good Friday holiday.

I have clients that did the same and one that gave the employees a choice to take one or the other. I don't care what holidays companies decide to give as paid or not, I'm 100% opposed to any government making a paid holiday mandatory.

Trump doesn't need to be "professional and political". Plus democrats threw out professionalism before and during his presidency. Many people who don't like Trump do so because they honestly have those same traits they accuse Trump of having.
And thats a large reason he was a 1 term President. He ain't going to be like your boy Vlad.

This would be so funny if it were not reality:

Biden Call To Congratulate Fetterman Lasts Three Hours As Neither Can Form A Coherent Sentence

"Biden Call To Congratulate Fetterman Lasts Three Hours As Neither Can Form A Coherent Sentence"

U.S. — President Biden's congratulatory call to John Fetterman for his senate race win reportedly lasted in excess of three hours because neither man was able to form a coherent sentence.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain was forced to adjust Biden's schedule as the call dragged on and on. Meetings on the economy, foreign policy, and immigration were canceled entirely. Fortunately, Biden was still able to keep his standing tea time with Kamala.

"They just sort of growled at each other after a while. It was very raw and animalistic, as you'd expect from great leaders," Klain said, advising Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on how best to spin the time-consuming call.

An excerpt of the official transcript of the call has been made available by the White House. A brief excerpt of the call follows —

POTUS: Look, Jack, you great, boy. Not a joke.

Fetterman: Me John. Who Jack?

POTUS: You Jack, man. Come on!

Fetterman: [unintelligible chatter]

POTUS: No. I'm serious! Think about it.

Fetterman: Uh, new phone. Who dis?

POTUS: Hello?

Fetterman: [heavy breathing]

POTUS: [heavy breathing]

At publishing time, White House aides deactivated President Biden's phone after he once again phoned to ask John Fetterman if the senator-elect would consider running for senate.

Voted for Bill Lee and Andy Oglesby.

I voted for a state house dem Clemmons I think because he had an open race. I don't think he's a loon. If he is it's my last time voting for him even if he can't be beaten.
