Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

So you have to be fake and put on an act to be president?
No but you need to be professional. Trump wasn't.

Like I said, I didn't give a sh!t because words cant actually hurt you and I'm not a left wing loon vagina. But Trump failed to realize you get more flies with honey than vinegar. Hell, thats just basic common sense.

So when your job depends on people electing you, ya better re-evaluate how you conduct yourself.

You think the current president conducts himself professionally?

You can always withdraw a concession. It’s not set in stone until certification

this campaign apparently thinks the outstanding vote won’t be favorable for them, I guess
I get that. But they conceded yesterday and now with 89% of the vote in, it's a virtual tie. Just seems like an odd move no matter what vote is outstanding.

Trump doesn't need to be "professional and political". Plus democrats threw out professionalism before and during his presidency. Many people who don't like Trump do so because they honestly have those same traits they accuse Trump of having.

When you are trying to sell a position, you do have to be able to sell it - that requires some sense of tact and diplomacy. You'd think Trump of all people would understand that. Otherwise, I tend to agree with what you say - especially the last sentence.

Of course Biden doesn't. They have low standards in the democrat party.

You still need to be smart about it. Even people who support Trump was sorta saying dude what are you doing right before the midterms. It's a distraction when people asking about him instead of the midterms. It's the same thing when he overplayed his hand against a weak and feeble Biden in the first debate. The 2nd debate he was much better with control but by then it was too late. He keeps trying to draw attention to himself. Azzholes don't bother me, but do understand timing. Infighting is not good for the party whether it's the establishment or America First folks. Cracking jokes on your political friends right before an election to gain some type of message advantage is low rent. He has a chance to save face but if they dig in then he will lose support. There is a run-off in Georgia. The best thing he could've done was shut up until after the midterms, and raise money for Herschel without being abrasive. Now he got this date set for an announcement that is probably bad timing.

I thought that I saw somewhere that this race was already called for Frisch? I may be mistaken.

You cannot tell me there are so many elections so tight over the years. It defies statistics. Just like 2000, comes down to chads..it stinks. And yes I get representative districts are winner takes all.

That’s fine. Just making Election Day a mandatory holiday.

Yeah, except politicians would screw that up, too. They'd manage to do it in such a way that it would become another long holiday weekend ... and people would be too busy to vote. The "hard to get to the polls" argument isn't a when and how issue; it's a who issue; but mostly it's now all about how to avoid election security.

Just guessing, but at 92% reporting now that would be % of precincts and they must be very low population to not not overcome 1K deficit.

If she had just picked up a few more Libertarian votes.

Yes he does. His policy ideas and vision are good, but he is cringeworthy. You don't rile up the other side when you're not on the ballot. As a matter of fact you don't rile up the other side unless it's a policy related matter. The fact that he started this drip of being about him prior to the midterms was not a good idea. Then the ridiculous namecalling with Desantis is wearing thin on people. If people like MTG start to run off at the mouth about Desantis he will lose more support. There's a way to do things.

If there is any one thing the GOP has mastered, it's how to stir up the other side. The dems are simply masters at taking a GOP issue and convincing their flock the that they will lose rights. Abortion is a masterful one. Whatever the right or wrong of it is, it's immaterial. The dems sold it as the GOP taking a right away; it's a hot topic, and the GOP fell hook, line, and sinker when the SC tossed out the opportunity. I'm not addressing and have no intention of addressing right or wrong or moral perspectives; the GOP erected a lightning rod and the dems sold it as taking away a personal liberty. In this forum alone most people have at one time or another said they don't want government telling them what they can and cannot do.

That looks somewhat like the doofus Tennessee fans rejected as a football coach.

You know what is amazing..they will do a recount and it will be different.

The year 2022, and all this tech, and the numbers are never the same after multiple counts. Pathetic.
Dont ever tell me "everyones vote counts".

You guys might want to hold a January 6 style storming of Mar-A-Lago and tell Trump he can’t run. Pretty sure Trump will take DeSantis down with him if they both run but Ron risks missing his moment if he doesn’t.
