Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

This is as good of a place to put this as anywhere. I was curious about how Nashville voted, since there are so many people moving there from every democratic state in the country. Here are Metro Nashville's voting tally for Tuesdays election. It's worse than I thought it would be. It looks liked they voted democrat 2-1 over republicans. So long conservative Tennessee.

I said several times in this forum over the last few years that this was going to happen, and I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about. It already happened to Arizona, and it will happen to Tennessee over time as well.

Davidson County sucks, and more specifically Nashville, but the rot does not have as great of an impact because Nashville isn't as big as some of those areas.

There was once a time when Republicans and Democrats wanted fair and transparent elections. This just seems shady as hail. The real democracy at stake is trying to get people to buy that this should be normal. Each year we are getting closer to a full Banana Republic.

Signature verification is lacking accuracy in mail in voting....that is the biggest fraud that could be found...but flooding a state with ballot that were not requested benefits Dems by giving access to low info voters who most likely wouldn't have voted. Dems flood these states then go door to "help" voters vote...fill out your ballots, we'll wait...or take a single mom with 3 kids....pushing her kid to fill out the ballot wen they wouldn't have otherwise......the GOP needs to start a ground game better...stick to the issues

Are saying one X looks like another? There's so much wrong with mail in voting. One of the biggest as you say is who exactly made the choices - can't pass the ballot off at a regular polling location; I suppose you could take a cheat sheet made by someone else with you to help "select the right answers". I don't like the idea of giving people, who are too lazy to go vote, ballots to pass along to someone else - if you don't care enough to make the effort to get out and vote, forget it, your thought isn't worth that of a real voter. The biggest issue is that mail in voting completely nullifies voter ID; of course, with all the other shady stuff that can go on with a mail in ballot, "does it even matter at this point" (to paraphrase Hiliarly). It's absurd to believe that signatures in a culture who no longer write with pen or pencil are going to be consistent. Fingerprint ID or forget it.

In AZ they are still counting because they have a signature verification policy in place - you know, voter integrity and all.
I can't help people who claim "rampant fraud" when there is no proof to support such a claim, sorry, that's on them.

So just who are the handwriting experts and what are their qualifications, experience, etc?

Pretending like anonymous signature verification as a legit way to verify something is hilarious. Go sign your name on something, do it 5x. Now come back tomorrow and do it again. I bet they're all different.
Done. My signature looked the same alll 5 times. It's pretty easy to verify signatures. The chances that someone would steal my ballot and have an exemplar of my signature is laughably miniscule. Then, when I report my ballot missing or stolen, it's easily corrected. This is essentially a pointless fear. Mail-in balloting has been around forever for absentees. This isn't novel. Some people just want to make voting harder so less people will do it. I'm not one of those people. Sounds like you might be.

Mine is certainly a lot different than it would appear on the registration form I filled out over forty years ago. It's criminally stupid to depend on signatures for verification.

GA is what happens when you take in strays. You are right; it's just a matter of time for the rest of us.

Check out this Pew Pole.if you believe in Poles.
If read correctly and then looking at trends tab, TN is actually more Republican in 2022 than 2007.

Wadda ya think?

Well congrats you're one in a million.
Voting isn't hard and there is plenty of opportunity to go to a place and do it. I want people to at least make a little effort and maybe have a hint of an idea of what they're doing. Not hey I signed this but my wife filled it out, or I don't care so I just gave it to my brother. Mail in Ballots are just for lazy dems that have no clue what they're doing and get other to fill things out for them.

I know for a fact mine isn't even close. When I filled mine out I was younger and thought you had to have a perfect signature so you could read every letter. Now you're lucky if you can tell one or two. If mail in voting is being done honestly there is 0 chance my vote should count.

So I guess you think it is ok for a privileged 75 - 82 year olds to sit in Congress/State/Judicial governments and make all the rules regarding voting procedures to vote absentee; but for those less privileged or in nursing homes or without should have to stand in long lines and vote in person. Sounds right.

You could never go to a voting booth with another adult watching so why can you voter harvest?

I went to my voting location. When I walked up to the attendant I had to show my ID. Then I had to confirm that it was my address which they already knew because they looked at my license. Then I proceeded like everyone in front of me and behind me to the voting booth alone.

But they can blindly mail out ballots, then get the voter rolls and know who was mailed a ballot. Then get updates prior to the election who has returned those ballots. It is a high tech cheating scheme.

Nope. I think every political position should have a term limit as well as an age limit.

One of the good stories that came out of the elections the other night. This guy has real intelligence and he will be a real asset to the party.
