Election Night (or days, or weeks, or whatever) 2022

As I was signing my form in front of an election worker I was thinking I hope they don't expect my scribble to match the better technique I used years ago.

A lot of the time I sign documents with my middle name regardless of printed name above - and always have. One day I was doing something at the DMV and I'd sign and the clerk was filling out some form having to do with "alias". I got the impression they are taking this format seriously now; problem is I don't even know which names and initials I used when I registered to vote, and to ask what signature I used probably seems a little suspicious.

I think it's just whatever they show.

The burden of proof rests with the party who is making the accusations of wrongdoing, or the "spurious claims." In this instance, that would be Republicans.

Btw, Mark Kelly just took Arizona, with the difference between Laxalt and Masto now down to less than 1,000 votes in Nevada ... and still 5% of the tally left to come from Clark County. It's over, fellas. The Democrats will retain control of the Senate, regardless of what happens in Georgia.

So how can you challenge documents and data that you don't have access to? If you knew of an incident, do you think you could just go in and ask to see the voter registration (and data) and the signed ballot? That's without "proof" which is what you are looking for, obviously your claim is spurious without the proof that you can't access. Real nice and neat ... "there's no proof" because there's no access for challenge.

Whichever way everything ends up, can we all at least agree that the fact that we can't get votes counted on election day in the year 2022 is a compete disgrace and a prime example of the ineptitude of our government?

Chick-fil-A would have vote totals 30" after each poll closed, and everyone would leave with a 6 piece.
Actually they are the worst. Now I would argue it's bc they are the busiest. And people can see how busy they are so they aren't pissed. When I sit at a slow place with no one in line it's obvious

CNN calls AZ for Mark Kelly for Senate and Democrat Adrian Fortes for Secretary of State. Katie Hobbs extends lead over Kari Lake, but still too close to call.

There will be a 25,000 mail-in ballot dump out of Clark County tomorrow in the Nevada Senate race. Cortez Masto has been winning those by a 2 to 1 margin. She only trails by 821 votes currently.

Tell me more about this red wave $hit.

That is absolutely ridiculous. What is so important about having all of the votes counted on election night?

Are you all for people to make a f****** effort to do it? Of course not. You want s*** handed to you, free of course, like most ignorant dims.
What's laughable is you think I am a Dem. Are you for people having to do more things to exercise their 2A right? Are people lazy if they don't think it's reasonable? So anytime a Dem policy wants to make owning a firearm tough I will chalk you down as being consistent in that you are good with it. I mean otherwise it's just laziness

Holy crap. Donald Trump and his 2020 election denial BS have single-handedly turned Arizona blue. Democrats will hold both Senate seats, the Governorship and Secretary of State.

What’s laughable is you think you aren’t. You’re just like huff and pj. Some sort of fake “libertarian” where at best you b**** about everything while never offering any kind of realistic solutions.

You can keep being stupid and poor at arguing. That's what you just said.

He is not a liberal. His positions are moderate ... and he is reasonable on most every topic. One of the best posters on here, and I say that even though he disagrees with me quite a bit.

Tennessee didn't have all of our votes counted on election night, but I didn't see any complaining about that on the board. I wonder why that might be.
More than any other characteristic, the Republican Party has come to stand for public distrust ... of government, of science, of the media ... It defines them and leads to these conspiratorial followings, which keep surfacing. It is a turnoff to moderate, independent-thinking voters when an extremist who espouses public distrust such as Doug Mastriano is on the ballot.

Incredibly, the Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania, Doug Mastriano, is refusing to concede defeat to Josh Shapiro, with Mastriano claiming that his defeat is only due to fraud ... even though Shapiro leads by more than 14 points, which amounts to over 761,000 votes with 98% of the ballots counted. Republicans could have won this election, if they hadn't trusted Donald Trump and nominated a 2020 election denying nut like Mastriano.

The GOP has done an about face. From "facts don't care about your feelings," to "my feelings don't care about facts."

Well, only distrust when it hurts Red team. I don't see anyone complaining about Boebert's election still being counted and likely headed for a recount.

Not really. All it shows is typical government inefficiency and incompetence all around. It’s inexcusable to still be counting votes yet morons still push for policies that drive more government inefficiency and incompetence.
