That's wrong. They were projected. They weren't done counting. And it's wrong to think there weren't "surprises" post prediction.

Your issue is that you are surprised that elections are so close now. That shouldn't be surprising.

That’s the type of ignorant BS I’ve grown accustomed to hearing from you. AZ has been trending toward blue for 12+years, and the open borders plus the mass exodus from California and Illinois is responsible for completing that transition to blue.

In my line of work we see all the new people in the area.
Everyone I’ve run into moving here from there are conservatives that have had enough of the garbage.

Also not been my experience. 3 in my neighborhood. All 3 with republican signs in their yard.
Those states are full of people who don’t live in the city and are tired of their vote not counting because they’re outnumbered by city trash

That's intresting. My main personal experience, my sister's husband and his family refuse to vote. They moved to East TN from California, they all say they don't vote because Republicans are gonna win TN regardless. They all bleed blue and want TN to turn blue.

50D to 49R in the Senate as of now. The final Senate seat will be decided in Georgia on December 6 (Georgia law requires 50%+1 vote to be elected, so that race is headed to a runoff between just Walker and Warnock).

Predictions on the House right now are at 219R to 216D. Still counting votes in many places, and the ranked-choice elections in Alaska and Maine won't be certified until next week (Nov. 23 I believe). There are 19 House seats yet to be called: Republicans only need 6 to gain a majority, whereas Democrats need to win 14 to retain the majority. Republicans will take the House imo.

It has almost been a week. For Alaska and Maine, it will be two weeks when they finish up next week. I don't expect every race to be fully counted at 10:00 election night, but a week or longer? Yikes.

Arizona is releasing a bunch of vote counts as we speak for the gubernatorial race.

... and Arizona only had about 2.5 million statewide ballots to count. A week is ridiculous.

If it does shake out as :

Senate
Republicans ... 49
Democrats ..... 51

House of Representatives
Republicans ... 219
Democrats ...... 216

^^^^ That ^^^^ would mean that Republicans only picked up 7 seats in the House, and lost a seat in the Senate, while basically, breaking even in battleground Governor's elections. (Republicans won in Georgia, Florida, Ohio and Nevada ... and Democrats won in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona).

These mid-term elections were a disaster for the Republican Party.
