Turned 45 couple months ago. Think NEO is about same age as us. Cool. Always interested in views of folks the same age as me, because i feel like they grew up in the exact same version of America that i did. Things have changed (deteriorated) so quickly in our lifetime that 5 years difference in either direction can mean a different set of circumstances a person dealt with growing up. Adoption of cellphones, internet, social media etc meant big changes in how people experienced their teen years etc. I had a pager in HS for example...bc cellphones were not accessible really yet. We stopped at payphones to return a page lol. A person 5 years younger than me never lived that way. Go VOLS

Absolutely. We grew up in a good time. My kids will never know what that was like or that the political system was only different on a few issues. Perfect example of times changed was my daughter a few weeks ago choosing to buy bottle water at Disney vs. her mom and I drinking water out of the filter/water fountain.

And people wonder why I’m so unreasonable with left leaning people. I’ll admit it….. I can’t stand them MFs

They're an emotional wreck. They react like a 2yr old being denied candy, they don't have the logical discipline to weigh costs mentally. Their whole world is emotions driven.

This began back in the 80s(?) when the government stepped in and said you can’t discipline your kids. Here we are seeing the product of the undisciplined. Cause and effect at its finest

Dumb. There are stories every day of people defending themselves. You don't hear about because your propaganda outlest doesn't report it. Sheep on dude

It is amazing to watch our media at work.

Depending on what you watch, one could easily believe a gentle giant, with his hands raised high in the air surrendering, was murdered in cold blood by the police in Ferguson.

A runaway SUV somehow mowed down like 50 people in Wisconsin.

And this story has pretty much been buried relative to the exposure it would have gotten if the good guy with the gun hadn’t have been there.

And gun-related homicides would skyrocket. I for one am not interested in living in a Western film.
Only in lawless areas. You'd have the local politicians to thank whether they are committed to law and order or chaos.... Much as we do now. So in reality it wouldn't be much different than what we have today.

The person afflicted is usually the last to know.

you made a post that was obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. That makes you a bigot.

Humor escapes your grasp. I thought adding the line about her hotness would clue in most. I don't factor in political beliefs into a decision relating to whom I will associate. I think it is really sad that so many do these days. I have friends that are die hard MAGA folks and friends that are way further left than I.
