Elsewhere Emmanuel Okoye has returned back to London and is working towards a decision. In talking with multiple people this week, the belief is this still comes down to Tennessee and USC, but others aren't giving up hope. Texas Tech would be the third option. Okoye knows he is working on a shortened timeline, but he is going to take things at his own pace to make sure he gets it right. While there is no current decision timeframe, he does hope for sooner than later and told us after this weekend he will start working on a decision that he hopes to make in the next couple of weeks.

He's a take at TE for the '23 class. He may not see the field other than special teams until his RS sophomore season, but his ceiling is as high (or higher) as anyone that we're currently recruiting. I don't know if anyone else has pitched playing TE to him either.

Tennessee continues to wait on good news from NFL Academy athlete Emmanuel Okoye. We believe Tennessee is the team to beat for the Nigerian who now resides in London. Texas Tech appears to be the biggest competition, but all signs point to Rocky Top based off people we have spoken with.

Supposedly he ran 4.4 and could jump 40 inches or something. And he's 6'6

So he's like Michael Jordan.
