No disagreement. There was a time I used to get on Facebook to "monkey around" with old friends and stuff, but it evolved into much of the same. Dog piling hate and ridicule became the tactic of choice to shame anyone who dared to share an innocent thought, if it could be used as a wedge to further an agenda. I had to leave when I saw it start to affect people, that I knew were real, to behave the same way.

I know what you are saying about Twitter. Some of the responses to tweets are just hateful nonsense. Having said that, I only follow a few people and it's mostly for laughs. For instance, I followed the entire Dan Wolken vs Mike Leach twitter battle and it was glorious.

Would actual eyewitness testimony sway your rebel rousing? The arrest is probably coming once they identify him. He is probably back home in Kentucky.

There is eye witness testimony from a freelance reporter from the Washington Post I believe.









He is actually legally blind...

The seething anger of Trump supporters is a frightening thing. They rally around him because (they think, anyway) that he sticks it to the educated and the elite, those above them. They earnestly believe he is championing their cause, and even if he's not, its okay because they hate the educated and elite so much that being anti-them is good enough to keep the Trump sheep in the fold.

They blame anyone but themselves for being stuck in lower middle class suburbia. Its the fault of the minorities for taking their jobs. Its the fault of the courts, for siding with minorities. Its the fault of the lower class for siphoning off their tax dollars.

Above all else, its the fault of the media for trying to explain to them why they are wrong and in doing so reminding them how backwards they are.
