It's not completely on him but his gameplans have been terrible all year. LSU had a QB who was afraid to throw the ball and had no confidence but I'll give you that one. Still we got diced up by Pitt, UF, Bama, and even looked bad against smaller teams at times. Today we played split safety every passing down and rushed 4 just like we have all year. I remember when Heupel said we're going to play aggressive on both sides of the ball. I'm waiting to see that.

I’ll be totally honest with you, and this hurts me to say….I thought we set the tone by kicking the field goal on the first drive we had after the fumble when it was for a fourth down we typically go for.
I do agree agree with you about never bringing pressure on D but they only gave up 27 and our vaunted offense only put up 13. There is a massive outlier here.

I honestly think Georgia timed our silent snap count. Multiple times safety of linebacker came pre snap and was hitting at our O line right as they snapped ball. I dont think we did good at changing it around.i also don't understand why most teams don't do what Georgia does presnap on defense. Waits waits then shifts. Causes confusion.

This was the reigning national champs who blew out Oregon and is littered with 5* and a really good QB.
What Heupel has done getting this team to 8-0 was incredible. They've overachiever.
Hooker did not play well. Georgia sent the absolute house. The crowd, the rain. Kirby is a heck of a DC and guys werent running open anymore. The secondary is trash.
If Georgia lost, it was because THEY were outcoached. Georgia will beat, possibly whip Bama in Atlanta. They'll likely win the NC. This was a playoff game for Georgia. They didn't care about playing Kent State and Mizzu.

If it’s not coaching and Bama and UGA have had similar classes, how is coaching not a component? The scheme was set up perfectly to prevent the deep ball and rushing game with superior talent. Passes in the flat or short midfield were allowed. They basically took the UT approach of bend and played it better. UGA played the deep ball and rush attack better than UT. If you asked Heupel, he’d tell you today was coaching loss. Yes-UT laid a complete egg but the play calling was pedestrian and players weren’t getting open for the most part. Now the fans get to enjoy another beatdown for 365 days and crowing from UGA fans who said defense matters and our offense is a gimmick. We can’t say they’re wrong.
