Enough with this outcoached BS narrative

We finally faced a very talented and very well coached team. We arent done yet and need some help but we simply didn’t match up well and they executed. That 75 yard punt was a back breaker that rippled thru a couple more possessions
Every time we tried to get something positive going, seems like a dumb move or penalty. Like running into the guy who had called fair catch. And how many times did our O - line jump or move too early? 3rd and 5 became 3rd and 15.

I disagree. Georgia played conservatively.
D played much better 2nd half. They played like they normally do on offense 2nd half. It’s just they couldn’t run as well. We also have up some deep bombs in the first half.

We were outcoached homie. It’s okay. Hasn’t happened very often but it did today
We were out personeled. NOT outcoached. What would you have done differently if you were Heupel?
Did you see the speed at which Georgia defenders collapsed on the ball carrier and how well they made tackles? The same plays that in previous weeks went for 10 to 15 yards were getting five yards tonight. As a result we stayed behind the chains all night and never got to unleash the tempo. Did we even have a rush for more than 10 yards tonight?

1. Crowd really affected our offense (I wish EA would keep his da$n mouth shut)

2. We had no answer to their pressure. I would have liked to have seen some screens and throws to the backs in the flats.

3. No chip on the shoulder. If you scan VN threads they are quite a few from posters being upset because the Vols we being disrespected by the media and polls. Ranked #1 in CFP poll, most of the media picked the Vols to win, a former player saying Sanford not that loud. Georgia felt the disrespect and played with the chip on their shoulder. The team did not play with the same intensity as the number #1 team.

4. Hendon is a great QB and no disrespect to him, but he had the deer in the head light look. It was a tough environment.

5. Big game experience. This was the biggest game that CJH has coached. The biggest game this roster has played. Kirby Smart and that roster have been in a lot of big games.

I think we are still ahead of schedule and still have a shot at the playoffs. Win out and see what happens. There’s a lot of football left to play.

Okay and Bama has just as much talent as UGA has. And we put up 52. At a certain point, you just gotta tip your hat. Still takes coaching to get the potential out of those 5 stars you know. I can’t stand Kirby but how do you not give credit? He held us to 6 freaking points the majority of the game. SIX

Agree. If Ga is taking the deep ball away and all over HH, why not try a 2 TE set and run the ball? I remember Fulmer doing that one year against Ole Miss.
Run 10 yard slants. Throw to the middle of the field 10 or 15 yards.

Georgia has a considerably more talented, and a more complete team than Tennessee.

The only way Tennessee was going to win this game was if Georgia came out lethargic like they did against Kent State and Missouri ... but that simply wasn't going to happen when they were playing the #1 ranked team in the country at home.

Let's win out and hope for the best. There is still a chance Tennessee could make the playoff.

GO VOLS!

It’s not over TN, you had a bad game against a very good team. It happens. GA has recruited ridiculously and it shows. Well done though, and who knows, you might yet get a chance for revenge. If so that game won’t be in Athens. And if not, it’s still a great season for TN. You guys are good and absolutely ahead of schedule. Great rivalry in the future coming. I’m looking forward to it

Congrats to the dawgs today. They were dominant from start to finish. No excuses from me. Our guys need to watch a lot of film this week and hit the weights harder.

We got beat by a better team today but that's not going to define this season. We may not be going to Atlanta and that sucks but we have had one hell of a season. Did anyone really think coming into this season that we would beat Bama, LSU and florida and start out 8-0? We still have a legit shot at making the playoffs. Even if we don't we are not known as an after thought. We can say we are the best one loss team in the nation and nobody could dispute that. We've come along way from 5 stars hearts and champions of life. We are legit contenders again. Let's enjoy every moment of this season. GO BIG ORANGE!

I love Heupel--and Georgia has more overall talent--but even so Kirby schooled our offense today.

Thanks for that. Yeah we dominated today, but I’m really glad this game was in Athens. You guys are really good, it certainly helped us that we were at home. I’ll be the first to admit that in Neyland things would possibly be much different

Yep. Their fans showed up and did their job. Now out guys know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of that environment should be a learning moment for them.

Kirby has surpassed saban at this point. Georgia is the team to beat

Yeah, the first two drives were stopped by penalties created from the crowd noise. The noise really affected the offensive snap rhythm and Kirby used it masterful to his advantage. UT had no answer to fix it all game.
