I guarantee you that Hart is convinced that Vol fans will go on like it is just another day and that we will take whatever we are given without questioning the hire or the methods or the back room bs that had occurred.

Jones is not the best that UT could do but Many Vol fans are doing exactly what Hart expected... They are accepting third best when they could have had the best. Hopefully the big $$$$$ boosters will send a message to Hart! The media has already begun talking about how good this hire is. I guess it is true that if u say something enough people will believe whatever it is. And Jones staff will not be all stars. Tiny Richardson did not even know who Butch Jones was!

I hope that when the time is right someone will let the story out. I'm probably assuming a lot by attempting to make inferences and read between the lines. I did find it odd that in a few hours we went from ESPN reporting that Hart was taking the search back to the starting point to making a hire. I assume that Hart had to meet with certain people when he got back from Louisville. I assume that some of those people in the meeting may have thought they could do a better job that what Hart had done. From there, my imagination runs wild.

Take your frustrations out on Hart, or Cheek. We have Butch Jones, support him and the team. When was the last time UT hired a "big name" coach? Exactly what are you trying to do with a post like this anyway.? Just to show that YOU were in "the know", and the only way to prove it is your dissatisfaction?

His post stated that he did not have an issue with CBJ. People are just going to have to chill out and understand that Hart wet the bed and folks are mad. Yeah, that kind of rubs some shine off the whole process, which I guess guess can be interpreted to negatively implicate the results, but I don't see anyone criticizing CBJ as a person or as a coach.

I agree with this post but I also add that it makes the fanbase appear equally idiodic for people to say that this hire was better than getting Gruden or we got some A-lister who's going to set things to rights. What we got was a chance to get better. That's it and anyone who says different is a damn fool.

Frankly, I question Dave Hart's motive; his ego proceeds him in a room and his buffoonery rivals that of the recently dismissed Derek Dooley!

Wake-up Vol fans.... Dave Hart just hired the guy who was Derek Dooley's signature win!!! This is simply unreal - Vol fans we do not have take this laying down. We must let the UT Administration, the UT Athletic Department, and any boosters who supported this hire know that we do not support them nor this hire!!!

The hiring of Butch Jones is simply an EPIC FAIL.

This thread is an epic failure. Fail is a verb, and is something you do, like fail at English. The act of failing is "failure," and is a noun. People can be failures, but they can't be "fails." That doesn't make sense.

I just want to know why if the big boosters weren't behind this hire, why did butch jones fly in on one of Pilot Corp's Aircraft?????? Check the facts. He flew in on aircraft N353H. This aircraft is owned by the pilot corp. I can't answer your question w/ regards to travel plans. There is no reason to believe that the Haslam family did not approve of Jones. There is a question whether ALL the boosters were on the same page. Really, it doesn't make much of a difference anymore.

The reasons are out there, it's not hidden anymore and it has plagued us for three hires now. It's been brought to the fore and we will see if Hart and Cheek make progress or it will be as big a sham as Gruden.

Just a question. Butch Jones. Is this the guy that Dooley embarrassed second or third game 2011? I think it was 45-23 or something like that? Something hasto be said about it when Dooley beats you.
