ESPN FPI: Texas Is Back...AGAIN 😂🤣

You love to live in Tennessee's ancient history so tell us how many Heisman Trophies have the Vols won compared to the SMU and TCU? How many national awards are named after Vol players compared to SMU and TCU?

You want current 21st Century history? How many Rose Bowls have the Vols won since 2000? How many Rose Bowls has Tennessee even been considered for since 2000? Keep chosing hills to die on.
Rose bowls? We’ve actually been to rose bowls unlike some midmjaor programs.

Here’s some stats for you:

Record vs SEC:
Tennessee - 406-278-33
Baylor - 117-241-17

Big 12
Tennessee - 14-7-1
Baylor - 170-161-9

Big Ten
Tennessee - 22-12
Baylor - 4-23-1

Pac12
Tennessee - 17-15-4
Baylor - 22-20

ACC
Tennessee - 106-62-7
Baylor - 19-20

Everyone else:
Tennessee - 291-34-9
Baylor - 289-122-17

The Rose Bowl is an extremely weird hill to claim. The SEC doesnt have a tie in to the Rose from 2000. Excluding the playoffs, the answer for any SEC team would be zero.
Neither did the Mountain West. The Rose Bowl was an at large bid that season. While TCU was beating Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl Tennessee was losing in OT to North Carolina in the...wait for it...Music City Bowl. That same season Tennessee staged an epic battle at Neyland and dispatched of UAB in OT. Rumor has it that the General called from beyond the grave after that UAB game asked that his name be removed from the stadium.

Hell, even Texas has played in and won the Rose Bowl this century against Michigan without a Rose Bowl tie in.

Edit: Sorry about the UAB jab and the Music City Bowl comment. You seem like a reasonable person. The comments are for RickyVol and his SEC SEC SEC chest pounding.

You are a strange cultist. Tennessee literally is better than Baylor in every conceivable statistic. Albeit you did win a game vs us in the 1950s which is considered one of Baylor’s biggest wins in their history.

why do you care about the Rose Bowl so much? But even then Tennessee has been to 4 times as many as Baylor ever will. I know you are a bandwagon kid fan who doesn’t the setup but unless the NC game is there no SEC team is going to the Rose bowl. Educate yourself.

You make fun of us beating UAB but Baylor is 0-2 vs UAB all time. Lol. In baylors best era in its history they still aren’t as good as we are during our worst. Which is sad and hilarious. We have a better record and better winning pct against a much harder schedule during the last 20 years.

The dark net??? I've lost track of how many hills you have died on now. 😂😂😂🤣
Not as many as your bball player did. What’s up with the rape, drugs and violence of Waco. Is it cult like stuff in the water or just weird isolation of being in the middle of desert out in nowhere. No wonder every good program abandons you to be left behind when they move on to better conferences.

You're the one calling TCU a mid-major bro. Mid-majors don't get invited to a bowl they have no ties to. So how many Rose Bowls have you been to this century? There have been 22 Rose Bowls played this century. Surely you are better than a mid-major... right?

TCU is a midmajor. Plays in front of 44k people in tiny rundown stadium in midmajor conferences. Boise St, Cincy, Memphis and Western Michigan have been to major bowls recently too and they are mid majors as well. By the way a century is more than 22 years and we have been to 4 Rose Bowls.

Also the only reason those midmajors got major bowl bids were because their record was good that year due to playing weak midmajor schedules. Clearly if we played a MAC or MWC schedule we also could have been 12-0 and went

Alabama has only been invited to one Rose Bowl this century. Same with Georgia. By your logic, TCU is on par with both teams.

As to the bold, TCU was invited to the 2011 Rose Bowl BECAUSE they were a mid-major. The Pac-12 champ was in the BCSNCG, and the Rose was required to host the top mid-major that year. The top mid-major happened to be TCU.

Thanks for posting that 1.000% winning pct. I was too lazy to look it up myself. Did you get that from the dark web? I think you are the only Tennessee fan that I know that embraces losing. Keep digging.
I guess much like Briles you overlooked the rest of the story. I understand why though. I’d be embarrassed if my football program was that bad and then on top of it known for multiple drug dealing and rapes

UAB didn't seem so weak that season... right??? 😂🤣

Still digging the hole Butch.

This is correct. If the Rose Bowl bid had been open to every conference that season do you think that Tennessee would have been chosen over TCU? Do you think Tennessee would have beaten Wisconsin? The Vols had home field advantage at the Music City Bowl that season and lost.

Don't try to change arguments. You were making the case that their presence in the Rose Bowl proves that TCU is/was not a mid-major. But the fact is that their presence in the Rose Bowl was due solely to their status as a mid-major.

No, TCU is not a mid-major at present. But they will be when the dust settles on realignment.

Only time will answer that question but until they are, they aren't.

North Texas beat us once too. So what? Baylor’s 2nd best team in history beat 13-7 where we had a TD called back lol. And the bears went the next 50 years losing
What does this even mean? You've never seen a football game before? TDs are called back on the regular. Try harder.

Well we have more wins, conference championships, national titles, all Americans, nfl players, better attendance, bigger fanbase that is national and better facilities, better tv ratings, etc. you have nothing. A small stadium, small cult fan base, no talent, no major conference, midmajor money.

And your conference rivals are TCU, Cincy, UCF, Houston, Iowa St and the Kansas schools 😂😂😂😂
Why would such a storied program hire a mid-major coach? Admittedly his last season at UCF (6-4) looks as mid- major as his first season in Knoxville (7-6) but all you had to do is get Saban on the phone and y'all would have been in the playoffs last season. Oh well, there's still hope for Josh on the Hill Top. Just ask your last three coaches.

Baylor has played almost 400 games against the SEC?

And only 350 against the Big 12? Something seems off with your math.
