You can't coach size and intelligence. He has both. So they develop his quickness, technique and route running. Excellent pick up.

I'm with fade on this one. I'm all for welcoming a new recruit, but don't shoot off the BOOM sticks unless its a highly touted 4* or a 5*, ie a Marquez North or Jalen Hurd. Kinda like rushing the field for winning 7 games after beating KY, IMO.

Most importantly to me is that we pulled him out of Big 10 country with offers from Nebraska and Michigan State. Would be nice if we can pick up a few more from up that way. Nicely done Butch!

First of all, you said that programs "passed" on a recruit in April. Either you are supremely in the know or just pulled it out of your ass.

His offer list is good, certainly not bad enough to say that you "can't blame" Butch for offering. Implying that this is some kind of reach is ridiculous.

And as I said in another post on this thread, maybe they will. I also said I'm glad he's a vol. Why all the hysteria over my opinion??? What I said is absolutely true - he's a decent pick up, not an outstanding one.
