And as I said in another post on this thread, maybe they will. I also said I'm glad he's a vol. Why all the hysteria over my opinion??? What I said is absolutely true - he's a decent pick up, not an outstanding one.

First of all, you said that programs "passed" on a recruit in April. Either you are supremely in the know or just pulled it out of your ass.
His offer list is good, certainly not bad enough to say that you "can't blame" Butch for offering. Implying that this is some kind of reach is ridiculous.
<------- Waiting for the NCAA to come in and say the "commitment brick" is an "improper benefit" and make each recruit cough up $4.
Wouldn't surprise me.
Brick idea is awesome, by the way. If not already, they should be for sale in the University Center bookstore.
So if he picks up a 4th star and 10 more offers, you gonna come back and say he is outstanding?
The star upgrade wouldn't change my opinion very much, but certainly I'm open to re-evaluating a kid when his offer list improves. With scholly limits these days, schools can't waste offers, so I tend to put more weight into offer lists than star ratings. There are exceptions.
No, cause his offer list now is better than decent. Plus, he may not fit their system. Too many variables. If you watch his film, he is more than decent. He is solid.
I don't see how those schools offering makes him any better. He is still the same player.
