Everybody seems unhappy that we beat Florida.

Florida is an entirely different monster for us. No matter how good we appear or how bad they appear, we're going to have weird stuff happen and the game is going to be much closer than it otherwise would or should be by all other metrics. Their 2022 team went 6-7, we were 11-2. We had to defend passes to the endzone to cling onto that win. That's just how it is with Florida. We've won 9 games against them in 50+ years, only 3 of them were by 10 or more points. They've had some really bad teams in that time frame and it didn't matter, we still lost to them. Any win is precious vs them and 2 of 3 is exceedingly rare since Neyland left the sidelines.

Not to nitpick, but you said everybody is unhappy that we won -- not unhappy with the way we played, mistakes we made, QB play, overall offensive execution, etc. Not only is "everybody" a gross exaggeration, but to say that anyone is actually unhappy with the win is silly, IMO.
"Some" would be more accurate

What is this? We have like 3 wins in the last 19 games against Florida? Something close to that? And some fans are so unhappy that it feels like we lost? Or is it that you didn't cover your bet and you lost money? I think we were favored by more than a TD. Well, I really have NO sympathy for you. Me, I loved the win and will all year. Enjoy your betting.
No one is unhappy. The offensive style we were all hoping for this season just isn’t there and will hurt us likely against our next few opponents. Other than the offensive regression, it’s been a great season so far.

Beating Florida is fine but this is a historically bad Florida team that any true top 10 team would have destroyed. We should be thankful Dan Mullen was run out of Gainesville because he or any of his predecessors would have taken us to the woodshed.

I think it has to do with the fact that if you don't make the playoffs, the postseason is pointless. All the top players opt out. Thanks to the Arkansas catastrophe, we are one loss from being eliminated from playoffs.
Not true. We can lose one more and still have a 90% or better shot at making the playoffs, according to ESPN’s playoff tracker.

No plenty are unhappy. Mainly cause they don't understand football is a one week season each Saturday. They think how you play one week will necessarily translate to the next. So they're assuming that because Florida isn't very good then us struggling with them means we're not good either. This folks seem to get amnesia every week cause anyone who knows anything about football knows the transitive property doesn't work. Alabama can beat Georgia one week and lose to Vandy the next. Which is why you should never be unhappy about winning an SEC game.
Maybe some of us fans can see when the team is not getting better as the season goes along. We see a team that comes out flat on offense weak after week. I'm glad we won because beating Florida means somewhere Steve Spurrier is throwing his visor down watching the game. I do see improvements with the defense and if the offense could find itself this could be a good team. Beating Florida is bigger to me than beating any other team

Um. They posted that if we won it was 52% during the game last night. I am thrilled anytime we beat anyone, ESPECIALLY florduh and crapabama.

Some of you see one poor play and you start a false narrative about it

Anybody allegedly unhappy with this win, watch this and read the comments, the fan base in Gainesville is ready to revolt.

Florida is just different than when we played and squeaked past Vandy and Ky in the 90’s.

Our offense is anemic and if you can't see or understand that then I don't know what to tell you

While I agree that we need to rejoice with every SEC win and whatever our team did last game has no bearing on the next game...

Observe CJH in his postgame press conference and tell me that's a happy man speaking. And we know he appreciates better than the rest of us how important each win is.

I think it's safe to say that, as of last night, his concerns of two weeks ago--with a bye week to work on them--have still not been alleviated.

There is no reason to misrepresent peoples concerns. No Vol fan is upset THAT Tennessee beat Florida.
