Explosions in Norway

It looks like Glenn Beck was an inspiration to this guy anyways.

And why are the news channels calling him an extremist rather than a terrorist?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Because he is a white, right-wing Christian; have you ever heard news channels refer to abortion clinic bombers as terrorists? Nope.

Saw this on the Fox site - seems to be saying it was terrorism

Here's one from CNN

Norway terror suspect claims to have worked with 2 other cells - CNN.com

Where's this "they aren't calling him a terrorist" stuff coming from? Hell, CNN's entire section on the matter is labeled "terror attacks".

Was watching CNN at lunch and he was labeled an extremist on the description.

Please provide the source (and not just another blog where some random blogger says this without any source to back it up).

It's in the manifesto, read it yourself.

I know what you mean but McVeigh is routinely, if not predominantly, referenced as a "terrorist".

And routinely his connections to islamists are air brushed
out of the scene.

Good luck with getting that out of him, since it is extremely likely that he made it up completely.

Like you expect the media, aka information bureau, to
report that???

It's in the manifesto, read it yourself.

Post the quote.

Here is what I found reported about the al-Qaeda connection:

In one of the many bizarre statements in his 1,500 page manifesto, Anders Behring Breivik, the man who killed nearly a hundred people in terrorist attacks in Norway on Friday, said he would be willing to work with al-Qaeda and Iran.

Breivik, who describes himself as a conservative revolutionary and has been called a right-wing and/or Christian fundamentalist, states in his manifesto that his aim is to expel Muslims from Europe.

His writings, which appear to have been compiled over the last nine years, denounce Europe's political classes, whom he accuses of opening the doors to the Islamization of Europe.

Despite his apparent mistrust of Islam, Breivik also states that he and his movement (it's not clear if the movement consists of anyone other than himself) of "Knights Templar" would be willing to work with Islamist groups al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The manifesto states, "The PCCTS, Knights Templar will for the future consider working with the enemies of the EU/US hegemony such as Iran (South Korea is unlikely), al-Qaeda, al-Shabaab or the rest of the devout fractions of the Islamic Ummah with the intention for deployment of small nuclear, radiological, biological or chemical weapons in Western European capitals and other high priority locations."

Breivik went on to state that any potential Islamist allies would need convincing that the "Justiciar Knight" is not an agent of the CIA. In order to prove their identity, "Justiciar Knights" must be willing to "sacrifice."

"A Justiciar Knight is willing to martyr himself for the cause while a EU/US agent will not be willing to sacrifice much," the manifesto says. "The entity should demand that the alleged Justiciar Knight in question surgically remove his penis and testicles and/or execute a fixed number of civilian children. While this requirement seems morbid, absurd and unreasonable, it is perhaps the most effective method of confirming the intentions of an individual."

Norway Killer Breivik Willing to Work with Al-Qaeda, Iran, Says Templars May Need to Kill Children and Cut Off Own Penis - International Business Times

Not exactly a glowing praise of al Qaeda; more of a "Yes, I will work with those guys because they know how to kill, but they have to cut off their penis" type of praise.

Thanks again, GS, for your unparalleled idiocy.

Read that Fox article. It was interesting to see how much they emphasized that he was a "loner" and crazy. Really striving to make it appear that there aren't others like him, that he was not motivated by anti-Muslim sentiments expressed by so many others.

I would argue that's fairly typical of guys like this. I don't see that slant....

Breivik: Neither Jesus nor Robert Spencer inspired his bloodlust | The Cinch Review

On page 1307, he explicitly states that he has no
“personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God” but
instead believes in Christianity “as a cultural, social,
identity and moral platform.”

Breivik is also quoted as saying; "If Muhammed were
alive today, bin Laden would be his second in command."

He praises al Qaeda, not because of it's philosophy but
becasue of it's effectiveness.

Breivik thought he could work with the Moslems if he
could prove he was as bloodthirsty as they were.

Breivik apparently has no objection to Islam, he just
didn’t want immigrant Muslims in his country.

Whether or not he did have any connections to moslem
terrorist orgs remains to be seen but one group did
initially take credit and three days before the event one
islamic site did say there would be an event in Oslo.

Oh, and that crap you threw in about Jewish holidays:

In 2007 Islam and Judaism’s holiest holidays overlapped
for 10 days. Moslems racked up 397 dead bodies in 94
terror attacks across 10 countries during this time...
while Jews worked on their 159th Nobel Prize.

So, earlier you posited that he never once mentioned Christianity in his manifesto...

He identifies himself as a Christian, regardless of whether or not he feels as though he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and he also states that he is a member of the Knights Templars.

Once again, you prove yourself to be completely wrong.

Israel imposed a blockade on Gaza during the week leading up to Yom Kippur in 2007; a blockade is legally an act of war. Thanks for setting the year.

That said, it matters not what happens during those holidays; it matters that they are celebrating the following:

Passover: the murder of children across Egypt (supposedly, their omnibenevolent God did this in order to persuade Pharaoh to release the Israelites. This, of course, came after Pharaoh had decided three separate times to do so, but that same God, each time, opted to harden Pharaoh's heart).

Yom Kippur: the day of attonement. After Moses came down from Mt. Sinai to see the Golden Calf, he had it destroyed and burnt. Those who wanted to repent were forced to eat the ashes of the calf; the three-thousand who chose not to repent, were brutally slain by the Levites.

Hannukah: After the Maccabean Revolt, in which a large group of Orthodox Jews rebelled against the Hellenized Jews for going to Academy and Gymnasium, the Maccabbees slaughtered survivors, tortured and killed Jewish women who had slept with Greek men, and forcibly circumcised Hellenized Jews who had not been circumcised in their youth.

I cannot stand Glen Beck. But did he call the guy a hero like muslim leaders call mudlim bad guys a hero?

I've been to Iran umpteen times on business. How about you?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

I'd love for you to show me I'm wrong. Please show me I'm wrong. I travel to Iran a lot for business and I guess I just missed it.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

You do not have to be wrong in order to have made a statement that in no way would make me rethink my statement.

I said that Iran is a Shia Theocracy; I stated that the current government does a lot of bad sh*t; that does not change my position that the Persians embrace, both now and throughout their history, science, art, and culture.

GS, you're the village idiot of VN. You accepted the role long ago.

You calling anyone else the villiage idiot garners the
belly laugh of the month award.

Not at all, he doesn't claim to be a Christian, he claims
some connection to some organization with Christian
roots, whether that is true or not, we don't know.

The basic premise remains true, he doesn't claim to
be a Christian himself.

Christian haters like you can't seem to recognize these
sorts of facts in any matter.

Maybe Brievik can convince his proposed islamic allies
to do the same!

VICTIM OF MUSLIM RAPE ASSAULTED ON STEPS OF PARLIAMENT……. |

As reported previously, all the stranger rapes
in Oslo over the past five years — when the
perpetrators could be identified — were
committed by Muslim immigrants,
and
almost all of the victims were indigenous
Norwegians. This is an example of “conquest
through rape”, which is has been a feature
of the Islamic hijra all over the world ever
since the 7th century.

This latest rape would seem to be just another
in a long series — a 20-year-old Norwegian girl
raped by a 15-year-old North African asylum-seeker
in downtown Oslo. Ho-hum, dog bites man, right?

Well, not entirely. This particular atrocity
occurred on the steps of the Norwegian parliament,
facing the Castle. To make matters even worse,
as the young culture-enricher worked his will
on the victim, he was being observed live via
a video surveillance camera by security guards
inside the parliament building — who did not
leave the building to help the young woman.

It seems that interrupting a rape on the front
steps was not part of their job description —
that task rightly belonged to the police, who
unfortunately arrived too late to interrupt
the crime.

Let's say I immigrated to a moslem majority country and
burned their flag publicly, how far do you think I would
get with that???

As Brigette Gabriel says, and she damned well knows
from experience; (your brand of) "liberalism will kill us
all if we don't wake up."

And, Hitler had no objection to Judaism, he just did not want the Jews in Europe...

And it was the moslem mufti who convinced Hitler to
enact the 'final solution' rather than expel the Jews as
Hitler wanted to do.

It wasn't like the Arabs of Gaza weren't mounting
daily acts of terrorism against Isreal, as they still do
was it???

Are those terrorist atacks an act of war?

Any sane individual would say yes.

What say ye?

Nevertheless, during those holidays just how many
acts of terrorism did the Jews commit?

You sidestep every issue in your denegration of Jewry
and Christianity and yet you say the qur'an only
promotes it's vile form of violence for the sake of
resisting oppression.

You are a real piece of work dude.

You do business with Iranians?

Obama sold some of our oil reserves to a company that
does business with Iran, possibly in violation of UN sanctions.

How is the Persian and Turkish rug business, these days?

A cousin of mine bought $500,000 worth of Persian rugs
about fifteen years ago, I don't know how that turned
out, the last time I talked to him he thought it was the
stupidest thing he had ever done.
