I know UF is in our best interest, and they're the one SEC team that I will never root for, like to the point that if they were playing a game against the taliban, I'd be screaming jihad, but I NEED us to beat OU this year.

You see, my mother's husband is a huge Sooner's fan, and every time we're down in Florida visiting her, he and I get in a huge argument as he's convinced that UT will never be good again. Beating OU would make Christmas much more enjoyable for me.

As far as which win is most important for the team though; it's definitely Florida.

Whether they clearly look better than us this year or not..

Florida dont wanna come to Neyland.. sold out. At night.

Itll be a game just because of it being in Knoxville.

UF's has a 4-game winning streak in Neyland, including easily the most electric pre-game atmosphere Neyland's seen in years back in 2012. That game was at night, and it was a sell out.

Having made 8 trips to Neyland, you telling me the atmosphere will be any different, or in any way better, than our '96, '98, '04 or '06 games?

If we don't beat UF this year, I'll never have hope that it can be done again. I'm just about at that point as it is and this would be the nail in the coffin.

The best atmosphere for entire game was in '90 and '92 in the rain in my opinion..'98 rocked only because of the result. The only way it will be better is if the Vols start rolling early.

Good Lord...you completely misinterpreted my post.

I have great respect for Bobby Denton. Go read some of my posts in the threads here after his passing.

To think that his legendary voice announcing a crucial 3rd down and distance, with his trademark dramatic pause (Third..........AND TWELVE!!), is now replaced with a played out hip-hop track is laughable.

Having started my VOL walk before Neyland had end zone bleachers or upper decks, I can honestly say I get a real redneck when anything Florida football is mentioned. There have been some great and not so great games over the years and it's been one hellva rivalry but I get nauseated real bad when I see them ugly colors. Bottom line....Florida sucks and I'm almost positive I'll never get over it :no:

Maybe should of isnt correct. Maybe could of. 2011 I feel we would of won if Hunter didnt go down. Last year you guys were absolute garbage and we should of been able to get it down but we somehow sucked it up majorly. 2012 I did feel confident going it but the second half it became clear the teams weren't on the same level. 2011 and 2013 despite bad play and coaching at times we were always in the game and could pull out a win.
