We had no chance of winning last year. They spotted us a 7-0 lead with the awful pick 6 Driskell threw and then out scored us 31-10. They were in complete control the entire game after the Swafford int return. That's just the truth.

How many years were we a better team? The streak means nothing it the better team is winning.

Still hurts....but if better team wins.

Also, you should live in Florida like I have since 1985 to really deal pain after the game.

I would rather beat florida(lower case on purpose) than eat. I hate them and everything they stand for. I hope the entire university crumbles and they can't afford to rebuild.

The streak matters regardless....they're our most important rival going back the last 16-17 years. There have been a handful of years when we were a better team and still loss. 1999 & 2000 immediately come to mind. A lot of people think we were better in 2012 too. It typically doesn't matter if we're "better" or not IMO.....Florida has won 9 in a row and 19 of 25

UT had a very good shot last year; UF was awful the first couple of quarters. That was the one that got away. Unfortunately, I think Florida will be much better this year, but it is time for a win against them!

Very good shot? Florida went on a 31-3 run after giving us a gift pick 6. They doubled us up in time of possession, forced 6 turnovers and outrushed us 215-66. We might've had a shot, but it wasn't a very good one IMO.

And with what Florida is doing to Eastern Michigan right now it looks like Florida is primed to pull an Auburn and play for the East

Good chance meaning they only won 4 games last year. They were not a very good team. They lost to UGA and USC east which UT outplayed last year.

They suffered an astronomical amount of key injuries last year, that's why they fell apart later in the year, that and their bad head coach. They were a top 20 team when we played them early, and deservedly so.

The same UF team that UT played is not the same UF team the others played. UF had a QB worse than Peterman playing against USCe.
