I agree, I was telling my wife earlier if the refs are calling the same for both teams I don’t complain about poor officiating as long as the calls are equal between both teams… it’s the lopsidedness of it that causes me to blame officiating for the outcomes of games. The last 3 weeks have been atrocious!Or some attempt at uniformity in officiating would be nice.. I would argue many games this year would have turned out differently given what officiating crew shows up (not just us).. it’s starting to look really ridiculous with the inconsistency.. totally agree
For some games, but the first 2 home games have been virtually camera free. I think there have been 2 fixed with operators (high elevation) and 1 hand held operated along with the pylon camerasWell they have 8000 (yes, an exaggeration) cameras in 8K Ultra Hi Def at each game now, so those could potentially useful…
It's nothing new. Sports betting scandals have been happening since the 1800s. Folks that want to bet have always done so.Makes you wonder…ya know…with all the ease of gambling on games and such…
I’m not going to say it’s never happened, but I know 2 current SEC officials and 2 that are retired and I can promise you being lines aren’t remotely on their radar.
Is Heupel helping the bookies by not disclosing suspensions and injuries to the public? Thought about this last week when UT was a 6.5 favorite at Florida and all of Vegas was picking Florida. Then the next week we find out about hidden suspensions. And Sampson never saw the field.Ok guy im truly not a conspiracy type. Think most are bs. However the amount of money college football makes and the amout of people that bet on it is absolutely insane. I have watched officiating and game play as whole decline rapidly since covid. We had fixed games in pro sports and officials who knew how to sway a game and got away with it for a long ass time. To completely dismiss it is freaking stupid.
