I'm going to trade either Haren/Hanson/Nolasco when the time is right, for another hitter.

I went all pitching as you can tell, leading in every category in pitching except saves where I'm 5th.
Wouldn't worry about saves. Just watch for the cheap opportunities.

There aren't any vultures out there right now, I check the wire every day for it...it will happen eventually though, I'm not concerned at all about saves though.

I have such a wide lead in wins/K's that I just want my hitters to start heating up.

I have the lowest ERA/WHIP as well, with the most innings pitched, so I feel really good about that as well.

My biggest mistake was drafting A.Hill/A.Ramirez ( Cubs )...they have killed me, Ramirez in particular.

What kind of value would you give C.Pena?

In my other league I have him, of course he is hitting well below .200 right now and could very well stay there, he has that many holes in his swing...he could also end up hitting 40 homers.

I want to trade him in a package deal with a solid player, nobody special...just looking for a good return, not sure how to rate his value...any idea?

Start looking at teams that need power or ribbies. May need to package one of those pitchers mentioned in a previous post.

Well I would have to get something really nice in return because Haren/Hanson/Nolasco are pretty solid pitchers...something I will have to explore.

I was recently offered Carl Crawford for Francisco Liriano and David Price. I am pretty well off in the pitching categories, and my current outfield is Braun, Wells, Manny, and Justin Upton. Current pitchers are Verlander, Wainwright, Price, Liriano, Garza, Jonathan Sanchez, and Zito. I am doubtful I will pull the trigger unless I can work in a 3-way type deal to trade Wells or Manny for pitching in return. Just wanted to get your thoughts.

Crawford is nice, you know what you are getting with him...I would try and get a little more than just Crawford though.

I would throw in Wells with the pitchers and get Crawford and another really good player.

All he can do is say no.

I'm taking a risk that I hope will pay off. I just picked up Buster Posey at catcher. He just got called up for the Giants to play first but has catcher eligibility. He'll get some games behind the plate but Molina will get the majority. I think it's a plus for fantasy league to have a guy playing the field with catcher eligibility.

The guy is killing it in the PCL just like he did at FSU.

It will be hard pulling for a Giant though. :)

Wait and see approach; don't forget about Carlos Santana.

Kendry Morales' injury really hurts my squad...had to drop him of course.

Moved Adam Dunn from 1B/3B to 1B and added Scott Rolen from Free Agency to 1B/3B position.

It's bad enough that Rollins has been out practically all year long and Nelson Cruz can't seem to stay on the field, now this?

My team is getting decimated by injuries.

I had a bad week with Joey Votto missing half the games, Justin Upton still sucking and A-Rod doing nothing. It sucks when guys on your bench are putting up bigger numbers than your starters.

Hopefully things will go like yesterday when Posey went 3 for 4 and 3 RBI against the Diamondbacks.

The main reason i made the move is because I can find another catcher in FA if he doesn't work out as good as what I had.

I picked up Posey yesterday and he has not disappointed. So far he's 3 for 3 today with 2 doubles and an RBI.

The Posey effect is showing up that in Yahoo!, the add count was in the 17,000 plus pickup range.

He will have a 1B designation soon so he will have value as long as he stays with the team.

The wait is over on Tuesday as Strasburg will become a big league pitcher. Also watch for Marlins phenom Mike Stanton as he will be making his debut as well. Check out the waiver wire in your respectable league, especially if it is a deep one.

Picked up Stanton dropped Nick Markakis, very disappointed in Nick this year, hopefully Stanton can have a Heyward like impact.

Just thought about this...during my draft awhile back, I took Strasburg and Heyward late, somewhere around the 22-24th rounds, I ended up releasing both of them before the season started.

I couldn't wait for Strasburg to come up, Heyward has still got my ill.

Been trying to make a trade for like 2 weeks now and the guy won't budge..I have offered him Ryan Ludwick, Josh Willingham for Ichiro, also offered him Ludwick and Hanson for Ichiro.

Nothing.

You gave a new meaning to the word regret. No one in leagues I'm in dropped Strasburg. Heyward I own across the board. I've had a couple of trade offers but laughed it off. May want to email the owner.

There was one year someone dropped Justin Morneau and I watched for a bit and then scooped him when he was showing signs of getting hot. I needed a first baseman bad and he was the answer; it benefited big time as I won my first league title.

Last year in my AL League, someone dropped Joe Mauer and despite he started the season on the DL, I scooped him up an when he became, I benefited from that as well as he helped me win that league.

I watched that kind of movement during this part of the season, but it does not leave me to make dumb (and regrettable) moves as well.

If you play in a league where guys drop Morneau and Mauer you need to get in a more challenging league. Do you play with girls?

No, but that is what happened in my experience playing the game and I capitalized on them.

I got Phil Hughes instead, worked out much better for me in the end, as far as Heyward goes, it is hard for me to put trust into a rookie, granted I picked up Stanton recently but that was not a draft pick.
