FBI, Lowder, Dye Etc Unbelievable Summary on the Newton Situation (Must Read)

Mods: Merge if necessary. This was a judgement call.

Warning this was previously posted in the Newton thread and there is nothing new here. I simply felt it was too good for people not to read, and that it needed its own thread.

As the Plains Burn......(Updated 11-17) - SEC Football - TigerDroppings.com

IF..this Lowder/colonial bank and Uncle Milts gambling payouts scheme is true. The AA will Nuke AU to the stone age. Three letters..SMU. I never thought any school would dumb enough to go that far again.

Just an alternative theory (that I'm not claiming; just presenting).

Cam looks set to go to MSU anyway. Cecil thinks to himself "maybe I can get some cash out of this". When MSU doesn't play ball he say screw you we'll go to Auburn. The Cam statement about the "money" could refer to the fact that MSU didn't pay not necessarily that Auburn did.
Perhaps they felt his chance to be a star and get paid (NFL) was better at Auburn after they heard the Auburn pitch. Auburn is higher profile than MSU and looked to have a better pathway to TV time and championship potential than MSU.

Just a possible explanation.

Then at the least Cam is done and so is Auburns season.

Les Miles is the luckiest mother ...

If this happens, and LSU goes to the SECCG, he should just retire. Bounce passes and lucky penalties will never compare to that year he lucked into the SECCG.

Les miles went down to the crossroads and fell down on his knees.

How can improper money be ending up in the hands of "many" players, yet the head coach know nothing about it?

Plausible deniability. But I think if this much sewage is floating around, Cheezit would have to be the most obtuse dude around to not know.

All it takes is a witness and a recording and it will be all over but the crying for AUB. Sounds like the FBI has both.FBI doesnt make it a habit of following dead ends and rumors so you can be assured the corruption(bribery, money laundering, racketeering, embezzlement) is true. The indictments have been handed out already for some. The FBI is tying loose ends and minor players in all this and helping the NCAA get the stuff the FBI cant get to in a court of law.

Based on what? (see bold above).

So far the only link of the FBI to Cam is the investigation into MSU and a TMZ story that says one MSU source was asked if they knew Milton McGregor.

I hate to sound like a broken record but stuff is being presented as fact that simply has not been established.

Likely but also a world of difference from Auburn being kicked out of the SEC, death penalty, etc.

That is true

I do think Auburn should rethink having associations with Lowder, McGregor, Rane, Dye. As long as they are around, there will always be the thought that they are cheating.

Pete Rose cant get into the HOF, but Dye was inducted into the CFHOF. Pure idiocy

Yep - not breaking ties with Logan Young is what really got Bammer in trouble.

Dude you live down here. You know how dirty this state is. You should know from the whole Langford/victoryland mess that this stuff is not farfetched. Do you really believe AU is clean or are you just playing devils advocate for fun?

At this point I don't believe the McGregor/Lowder/Colonial investigation has anything to do with the Cam investigation and I don't think they are linked.

Did a booster pay Cecil? Well that I can believe.

It appears to be much bigger than Cam homie. We'll see I guess. The most telling piece of evidence to me is the timing of the indictments and the story beginning to break. Makes sense to me that anyone/everyone HAD to sit on it while the investigation into the political mischief was underway. The indictments were handed out in Oct (btw, this is FACT) and the story has been growing since. Seems pretty logical.

true. but there is a lot of "Santiago and the two orders" stuff that has all but trapped them into finally going down. The explanations of innocence at this point sound more far-fetched than the allegations.

You do understand that the wire taps were in place bc of the former, right? That makes your statement silly.

Again, the indictments for the gambling stuff may or may not have a thing to do with the Cam situation.

We've seen no mention of any Auburn coach, player, booster being interviewed by the FBI. OTOH we've seen several MSU folks being interviewed. We also had a story that the FBI involvement here was about extortion. My bet is that there are 2 separate investigations going on.

I certainly could be wrong but linking the two is pure speculation at this point.

I don't think it has anything much to do with Cam either. It is way bigger than Cam Newton. His story is just a part of it. The Uncle Milts payouts and Colonial ATM card schemes sound like exactly the kind of stuff that goes on down here. If that stuff is true and the FBI has proof. Auburn will burn.

Which wire taps? The McGregor/Lowder investigation has been going on for quite some time.

I don't mind looking silly but threads talking about Auburn being kicked out of the SEC look sillier to me.
