Fear the Walking Dead

This whole quarantine thing isn't very plausible either. How long did it take them to erect the fence? Who erected it? Did they erect it around the whole community? How are they keeping the algae out of the swimming pool without a filter or chlorine? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. These writers aren't very good. Not the same writers as TWD I suspect. I hope they at least start writing hot women into the show. Geez.

Actually I recall saying yuck I wouldn't be in that pool. It had only been 9 days they said, and it was pretty gross looking to me.

You guys crack me up...apocalypse and y'all focus on the swimming pool clarity. Maybe the heroin addict has been dumping chlorine shock in every other day...

These last 2 episodes will need to have a lot of action to get the main characters back together. Hector's wife won't make it. Jmo.

They didn't take Nick with the h"hospital bound" people. Guessing that the military is using this as an excuse to get rid of the "drains " on society.

It's no different than wondering who is mowing the yards in the TWD

It's flawed because it is impossible to believe that everyone would be overrun by walkers. The only way you become a walker is to either get bitten by one or you die and then turn. This just doesn't seem plausible that these walkers would not have been destroyed by everyone especially as well armed as America is. You have to suspend disbelief to believe all this. It would have been a better show if he could have developed a plausible way for the walkers to overrun everyone. Other than that it is a fun show.

P.S.-Also that is a shame and would have been the most interesting aspect if he could have gone back to patient zero. That would have been neat.

I don't think this show is for you; or science fiction in general.

Seriously? The pool was already getting lots of debris in it.

And the show is done by almost the exact same people as TWD. Honestly I don't know why you even like TWD if you're nitpicking this much over FTWD. How have you put up with that 5 seasons if these minor things make your panties bunch so much?

Fantastic episode! The quarantine "utopia" is fading fast.

I did laugh at the guy hitting golf balls because A) he clearly was hitting a practice plastic ball when they showed it up close on the tee and B) he clearly didn't play much golf. Which may have been intentional but his swing was worse than mine and I play maybe 2 times a year.

If you are going to nitpick a "flawed concept" you should start at animated corpses that feed on the living.

If you had been paying attention it's showing how people get over run. The characters in the show think the walkers are just sick. They don't recognize zombie fiction. They havent even realized the only way to stop them is to destroy the brain.

I haven't watched last night's episode yet but it seems like this season is only going to cover the first week. My guess is season 2 will still be inside that initial 30 days before Rick wakes up in the hospital.

I'm still laughing that he's complaining he has to "suspend belief" to watch the show.

I don't remember for sure but I think eventually this show is supposed to catch up to the other show. But that may have been rumor.

I like this more than TWD, but that's probably just me. I like the characters more, I like the setting more, and I like the writing more.

IDK, to this point I rather enjoyed Rick's "discovering" his new world more than FTWD's slow burn reveal of how it all broke down in LA. They've dropped a couple hints on how "when it happens it'll happen fast" from Tobias and Daniel so I guess we're just trying to build tension 'til the balloon goes up at the end.

Still seem like there's something missing...people just a bit too oblivious maybe?

Maybe just me but I thought last night's episode was one of the best episodes in the entire Walking Dead franchise and it didn't have one walker in it!

As we've seen WAY too many times in TWD...humans are the scarier monsters.

I think I found out why it's called fear the walking dead .

The government is scared of people becoming walkers so bad that they shot innocent people in infected zones

Apparently everyone but me thought this episode was really good. I thought it was mostly boring honestly. The drug addict hiding under the old guys bed stealing the morphine was just shocking and pathetic at the same time. If they kill that useless tool off I wouldn't miss him. The mom thinking she's about to sell the house is just stupid on all levels. The neighborhood is fenced off and guarded by the military, who does she think is coming to look at it? Nobody!

Um, isn't that kind of the point?

I didn't like the 9 day jump leaving that basically skipped the military takeover.

Travis is starting to get on my nerves as being a bit of a *****.

It was a great shocking scene no doubt but I don't think most drug addicts would think to do that.

Yeah, I left it out of my comments but he is definitely become quite annoying.

I have it and ZNation recorded but haven't watched them.

Oh man! That was an excellent episode of ZNation, You've got to watch it!
