Fear the Walking Dead

Because it's a cheerleader show that is pretty much an hour long fawning over how great the show is. I think for some it creates a bit of a backlash.

I don't see it as an issue. A good portion of TWD fans don't even watch it already and you also have the option to just skip it yourself.

I don't usually watch it, but thanks for your permission I didn't need. And glad you don't see it as an issue, but I do, so I guess agree to disagree.

I'm gathering, of course if I like TWD I will like this show. Is it worth getting caught up on before Sunday night? I have them all DVR'd and have been in the midst of a Daredevil binge on Netflix.

It's really well done, imo. Much better than TWD, so I would catch up before tomorrow if I were you.

This show was pretty lackluster for the first 5 episodes. The finale was pretty great though. It can go either way for me in season two.

I'm interested in hearing how The Talking Dead is an issue or somehow bothers you? You've yet to actually give a reason for your thought.

I answered that question in my first reply. And I already said agree to disagree, so unless you're just wanting to argue, there's not much else to say about it.

Talking Dead basically serves as cheerleaders for the show; there are no objective critiques on episodes and god forbid if someone calls out the creators/writers on something stupid or nonsensical.

I find the format to be bland and excessively repetitive; they haven't changed a single segment since the show started.

Chris Hardwick manages to keep the show afloat with his charisma; but it could be so much more. He's the only thing keeping Talking Dead from being "infomerical bad".

I don't disagree and that's a reason to not watch it but how is it bad for the show that it exists?

It's driven by whoever's the guest(s). The chick from Community, Yvette Nicole Brown is awesome when she's on there! Notices details and recalls them better than the writers or producers! Loved Conan O'Brien too.

Good point; and Yvette studies the show like a forensic detective. A bad guest typically sinks the whole thing... anyone remember the Marilyn Manson visit?? lol

This is how you explain what it is exactly about a show that might bother you.

They are cheerleaders for the show but in the end it's really just a way viewers who want more than an hour can sort of get more if they so choose.

They really have had some great guests on there though especially when they have a guest comedian or someone with a good sense of humor. That's when things can start to get out of control and funny.

Because what I said was so much different than what he said.

Yes I do! Always thought his act was schtick...he ain't acting! :pinch: And when he's off kilter, he's practically boring.

Well, the episode itself was interesting. Im curious to meet the boat bandits so to speak

I'm a little pissed they started the episode where they did. Why did they go from shooting the mother in the finale to suddenly a scene reminiscent of Normandy? How cool would it have been to see all that build up as the city began burning and the military dropping bombs?! Instead let's hurry past all that action to hop on a boring yacht.
