Fear the Walking Dead

snoozer - but looks like they will figure out quickly that the ocean isn't the place to be in the next episode.

It's pretty obvious the dude on the radio is up to no good... I'm thinking he's going to make an appearance in short order very soon

The season teaser reveals exactly that

Amazing that they came across 2 boats in that short period of time. It's the Pacific Ocean. If the boat has such a large range, get much farther from shore to avoid other traffic. If those "pirates" are coming at 25 knots, their boat likely doesn't have great range. Head straight out to sea. Either they are suicidal and follow or they bail on the chase and turn back...

I know, I know...zombie apocalypse is kinda like a fairy tale...suspend logic and just pretend... :)

What did Nick grab from the boat wreckage?

I think it would be interesting to see one of the characters evolve into a Governor-type. Instead of just encountering those types of antagonist, create one from inside the group. I know there was Shane but he was just a precursor to what Rick became later. I'm talking about someone that wants to build an army to rule over the new world.

I believe he grabbed a boat log

That didn't take long! :)

AMC’s Walking Dead spin-off, Fear The Walking Dead has been renewed for a third season. This news comes only days after the second season premiere.

The third season will mark the largest season order to date and it will consist of 16 episodes. This is an increase from season two and ten more eposide compared to season one.

About to get pirated, but I did have to check the credits to see if Gimple had anything to do with that snoozer

Hahahaha!

Yeah, I'm not sure what he's going to do with the ships log. Either he just likes to read that much or it might have some info in it that could be helpful later on.

I think with it being so early it might be a couple seasons before we get a good solid villain like the Governor. I'm interested in seeing what Strands character is all about. How far is this guy really willing to go?

Both shows should be no more than 12 each. IMO.

The Walking Dead should be 14 imo. Since being 16 there's always two episodes where it's just eh. The other 14 range from good to great though.

Fear...I'm already skeptical they can pull off 16. Instead of 2 episodes being eh, it'll probably be more like 6 or 7. Hope I'm wrong

I can't remember for sure but did the Dr chick in the last season tell them everyone is infected or do they still think it's viral?

I thought last night's episode was better. Strand still is by far the best character IMO. His line "Put it back where you found it", talking about the boy, was pretty funny.

I'm really starting to not care for the old man, and his daughter might as well not be there.

Travis has quickly become my most hated character.

He still seems to think everything will be fine. Walking up to someone's house and yelling "I know your in there" in the middle of the night is a good way to get shot. When he was yelling and Madison was trying to get him to stop they should have at least received a warning shot.

When Chris was taking out the walkers at the fence with the pickax I half expected him to run up to him and say "Your killing those people whats wrong with you!" or something like that.

Thus far I am not digging this show...

I liked the first season because it was an examination of what occurred right immediately after the outbreak started....that was the allure for me, and they quickly glossed over it within the first season.

Never thought I'd turn my back on something TWD related...

I agree. Travis is the biggest poon on the show

You have to remember that it's still very early in the outbreak so the world hasn't gotten mean and heartless quite yet like it has in TWD. Travis is slowly coming to grips with the reality of the situation. It's a process for him.

The big question is, who is strand talking to and where is that story about to go?

Isee the island as an opportunity... Tide has only brought walkers from a close ship. Not gonna get any from the mainland...
The resort town is likely full of supplies.
Only have to kill a couple hundred walkers. AND there is a fence between your side of the island and where the walkers are. Re-enforce the fence significantly then take out the walkers at your convenience. Beats the heck out of the prison or Alexandria.

Wasn't the other island a wild life refuge? Therefore plenty of food available a short distance away. Not to mention the Pacific Ocean is full of sea life...
Resort might even have a desalination plant...
No way am I leaving that island.

Exactly what I was thinking. They made it out like the guy there was a complete loon but I thought he actually had a good idea.

I was thinking the same thing. The biggest threat would be pirates rolling up. But I guess they are still under the impression that there is still a civilized world out there some where.

I'm not just curious as to what Strand is up to but why he was in the holding area in season 1.

Overall I felt like this was another pretty dull episode until the last 5 minutes or so. Even though the final scene kinda intense I had to chuckle at how quickly zombie mom lumbered down from the house to the dock.

Also I will say there was some pretty cool imagery in the cold open with the walkers rising up on the beach.

So forcing his family to commit suicide was a good idea? He kind of was a loon imo. Lol

Well obviously but I meant they thought he was a loon based on staying there. They were acting like leaving on a boat is the most sane thing ever when in reality they have no idea where they are going or it will end up being a good idea.
