It is politics I did see Kennedy speaking and one can assume by their words there are a lot of fools going on. You have pent up anger going on. It's not worth it. I am not angry at all. I find the Trump Cult kind of funny and disgusting that the Republican Party's real leadership can't deal with it. So I guess they are letting the Democrats do it for them. William Barr comments pretty much sums up the case for the search and seizure of documents at MAR. Others have as well. More to follow.
If I am reading correctly the RNC has already withdrawn from the 2024 Presidential Debate Process.

Sounds like everyone is in agreement the DOJ will appeal and win the appeal, so this probably all going to be a delay in proceedings, but what's scary is this dude has people beholden to him in positions of power, and every one of them will come into play. They will still go down with their captain.

From my understanding they seized tax records, personal info, passports (returned), attorney client privilege docs and others.
Sounds to me like they are on a fishing expedition.

There are competing concerns here. On the one hand, if a special master is appointed and can act reasonably quickly, say, a few weeks, that will not stall things too much. And there is incentive to move this along because you know that if the GOP wins the House or the Senate they will engage in further delaying tactics, committees, subpoenas, etc. to try to get to a point where a new administration can kill the investigstiom by appointing a Trumpster as the new AG.

On the other hand, this is a bad precedent for future investigations of others, unrelated to politics, where criminal defends to will file similar motions in droves, thwarting all sorts of investigations in other matters.


It's a tough call. And bear in mind, even if you say okay and the special master enters the picture and finishes in three weeks, that would not stop Trump from claiming they didn't do a good job, and more review or appeals is necessary.

All in an effort to kick the can far enough down the road that a GOP administration can move in to stop any investigation.

^^^^ This is my issue with some of ya'll^^^^
Trump appointed judge making a ruling in his favor and he is beholden to Trump and is willing to go down with his captain.

Judge who recused himself from a matter evolving Trump only to sign a warrant shortly after against Trump and that is above board.

Can you see it?
