Whataboutism is a desperate ploy here and not likely to work past the base.

If it turns out to be birthday invitations, as someone here said, then there will be hell to pay and I would agree with it.

But you don't know. Neither do I. I think some folks are skeptical it is birthday invitations for two reasons:

1) Trump has been given MULTIPLE opportunities over a period of months to simply return the documents to the archive.

2) Knowing the firestorm this would create, one would think that there is an articulable and specific description of something in there that is worth the firestorm. AND that Trump could not be trusted to provide it through normal channels, which he has resited to date.

No judge in America is going to sign off on a raid of a former presidents house without damn near 100% confidence they will find something. To be wrong would be political suicide.
