Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

It will drag out for months, probably into 2024 as the National Archives reviews the information.

I don't see how that would achieve the goal. The longer it drags out the less serious it looks.

If they got him on something big then good job - if it's a political hit based on mishandling of documents then it's crazy serious and definitely Banana Republic stuff.

Other than forcing him not to run again, I have no idea what their goal is. If they don't have him on espionage or something serious I just can't see how they can spin it in a positive light.

Which contradicts your statement

let the ballot box decide right?
Let the ballot box decide totalitarians state or term limits? Because you tossing in term limits in a case of private citizen/opposition being targeted isn't connecting. Need you to pick a a lane. Might need to revisit "justify the means" before proceeding to get the context.

You want to prohibit choices at the ballot box. It's still the same end whether it's done with the judicial or legislative.

POTUS can declassify docs at his discretion, this is not a document preservation exercise.

Where did I say prohibit? Democracy works at the ballot box, not in fear of a potential candidate possibly running. Again, revisit the "means justify the end". So again, where did I say prohibit?

Venn diagram of those crying about the politicization of the FBI today and those crying about politicization when the FBI re-opened its investigation on Clinton 11 days before the election.

You said get rid of which is the same premise. Term limits are pushed to limit choice and that's what some believe this fbi exercise is trying to do as well. You're in favor of getting rid of a candidate using one method but not another.

If you believe it starts at the ballot box then all choices should be available

Still under the protection of a political party. Trump doesn't have that
One could say that everything that happened under Trumps orchestration was a way to ensure he never lost power to begin with and thus face no consequences. But, as was mentioned ad nauseam, elections have consequences.
