Except it was only in very targeted areas where this "garnering" took place and it somehow missed almost all of the historic bellwhether areas that went heavily for Trump.

Hey, maybe it happened, anomalies happen, but the chances are very slim.

Stunning over reach would be for a man to think he could possess classified documents at his personal home, ignoring requests from the government to return them.

Plenty of ways to deal with it other than a raid from the DOJ of one party on the odds on favorite candidate of another.

Sad that politics trumps (no pun) justice when it's the other guy.

Not a man, but a former President who retains classified status. This isnt your plumber who came across some classified docs and wont give them back.

It should happen to anyone who flaunts the law. R or D, they all suck and deserve no special treatment.

Dumb Don wouldn't be in this position if he hadn't told the DOJ and FBI to eat a bag of dicks when they told him to give back the documents.

Y'all pretending like he's some sort of martyr or victim is insulting.

You can hate Donald Trump and also acknowledge how badly this has been handled. You’re blind to the ramifications of what has happened because of your Trump hatred.

It sets a dangerous precedent. When tactics like this are used by Republicans against a Democrat for something trivial I don’t want to see any crying from you.

What docs had he refused to give back in 2017 when Schumer predicted the “intelligence “ community would get even with him?

He shouldn’t be worried about tactics like this being used against a Democrat. He should worry it could happen to him. This is Eastern Europe in the 50s kind of **** where people snitched on their neighbors to move up a spot in the bread line.

I don't know that it's been handled badly. I know that if I was a trumper, I'd likely be butthurt over the optics.

You won't see me offering up sympathy for any of these beltway clowns when they get raided by the FBI. Hell, I hope they kick in Hunter's door tomorrow and Joe gets exposed.

Here's the difference between me and many of the trumpers feigning outrage right now - I don't care about the left either. What no one on the right is acknowledging is that there must have been a TREMENDOUS amount of evidence to get a warrant like that signed off on at the highest levels.

I don't know, I'm not privy to that intel. Schumer was calling a spade a spade, it's not some Mrs. Cleo moment to point out that Donny couldn't **** on every institution in the beltway without blowback.

Right now I can only speculate that it was enough, given that it was his own appointee that kicked the door in.

If this raid is over classified information brought to his hovel from the White House...well..hate to break it to most folks, ain't sh!t gonna happen to him. Pretty sure everyone in here is well aware of government officials at the highest levels mishandling classified information on a regular basis and it essentially amounts to teeth gnashing from the opposing political side.
