Sure ... but just as Trump likely had no clue that he had two documents marked as "classified" in a storage locker in West Palm Beach, it is also possible that Biden was in ignorance of the documents which had been shipped to his house and put away in his garage. It still shouldn't happen, but without knowing the nature of the classified material, it is hard to assess malicious intent. Some classified material is pretty mundane stuff.

These are probably the result of sloppy administrative errors ... and I mean that for Trump's storage unit in West Palm Beach as well. Do you think Trump's fat old butt helped pack up boxes and put them away in a locker? Me neither.

You are ignorant. Not all classified material comes with the same level of classification. It's not "one size fits all."

The United States has 3 levels : Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret. There are millions of such documents and some of them are pretty mundane.

lmao. Three levels of classification doesn't mean it's okay for classified documents of any level to be unsecured. Don't be a dumbass. You're still trying to defend Biden in direct resistance to common sense. Classified is still classified. The level of classification doesn't matter. It's still classified.

Yes and it says a lot about our government that we have so much information classified and out of sight of the citizenry. Any way you want to spin it this is unacceptable. If documents can go missing for over 6 years WTH are they classified?

Sloppy or not, it's not illegal for a POTUS to declassify and possess ducuments. The VP has no power to do that. There is no spin, and no similarity. Biden's possession of the docs is illegal, period.

It is not okay for classified material to be illegally handled. I have said that ... and I have said that Biden should be censored.

However, not all classified material pose a national security risk if exposed. The level of classification does matter. That is a stupid thing to say. There are varying degrees of recklessness. The legal consequences will vary as well in association with those levels.

Trump's possession of docs was illegal as well. Even if he de-classified them, they were not his personal belongings. Per the Presidential Records Act of 1978, a President is obligated to transfer all records to The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) upon leaving office. The FBI even subpoenaed Trump for these requested items on NARA's behalf, and Trump refused to comply with their subpoena. He was effectively in violation of the law, while also defying a subpoena.

Not late to any party. Right on time. The narrative is still ringing loudly that Biden's documents are OK and he did nothing wrong cause he's not Trump. And an AG that authorized a search on one and not the other.

Do you understand the concept that the material which Trump had in his possession at Mar-a-Lago did not belong to him? He was required by law to hand them over to NARA and didn't ... even after he was served with a subpoena for them. The FBI had to raid his residence to retrieve items which should have been handed over to NARA over a year earlier.
