Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

It really all comes down to this; if one has documents in one's possession, that the FBI knocks on your door asking for, you would be doing yourself a favor to turn over said documents. Lying and hiding them AGAIN is a good way to appear very guilty of something. Just hand them over when they ask, it's that easy.
Or defund the corrupt partisan FBI

Trump's own actions is what makes it a felony. All he had to do was hand them over. Why didn't he?
Why didn't anyone know Biden had classified documents he wasn't supposed to have for years? It's strange how they knew exactly what Trump had when they had no idea about these other classified materials. Didn't they find Pence had documents no one knew about as well? Yet the only person they knew about was Trump. Almost like he was set up.

Not a Trump fan, but it's easy to see how this looks all kinds of hinky.

Hot take. If it was up to me, all 3 of their sorry a$$e$ would already be in cuffs and under the jail. If I had even thought of handling classified material the way they have you can guarantee that I would have lost my clearance, been court martialed and thrown out of the service with either a Dishonorable Discharge or a big chicken dinner. No man is above the law and I say prosecute them all.

But most politicians appear to be. Not Trump, but most politicians.

Idk but I'd imagine there is a chain of command with classified material. If the Pentagon or whoever has no clue who is in possession of classified material, were ****ed.

Trump should have just kept the documents on PC hard drives and on his personal servers.

Biden and Pence did not realize it. The docs were discovered inadvertently and immediately returned, very small in number.

Trump took FIFTEEN boxes of them (reports are some may be missing), knew he had them, knew the Archives and then the FBI were lawfully demanding they be returned. And he refused. Repeatedly.

Enormous difference.

Not that you care about that.

BS..How would he not know? They were in his ****in garage.

I don't disagree, but either they didn't know Biden and Pence had classified documents, or they just didn't care. But it still creates an appearance that Trump is getting jobbed when no one else is facing repercussions.

I bet if other past Presidents' residences were checked thoroughly, more could/would be found.

So Trump packed up 15 boxes himself? Surely your not that dumb.

No idea of his personal role in selecting them. But we apparently are about to learn that he had a central, direct role, in refusing to return them.

I reiterate my question of the last 6 months.

Why? To me, that's the ultimate issue. If he has a legitimate reason this is far less serious to me. But given the circumstances it's just hard to imagine such a real reason.

Maybe, but would they hand them over if asked? Or would they lie and hide them?

Unless he created the documents himself how in the hell do they not know what he has/had?

I really don't like that woman, so I'll admit my bias upfront, but how she escaped prosecution yet they're going full force after Trump? It reinforces the image of corruption IMO.

Two reasons. Vince Foster and Ron Brown.

My understanding was that China Joe and Pence had no reason to have classified documents. Merely having possession was a violation of the law. This is a joke.

Thing is that its not up to the FBI or the Pentagon or others as the ultimate authority. The President is unique in this as the CiC. I really dont understand how you can apply a breach of the secrecy bits to any President. Forget the fine details for a moment, Scotus made it pretty clear during Clinton's time (just re-iterating well worn precedent actually) that a President has almost unlimited authority over classified docs. They can really do near anything they want.

That does NOT include VPs though like Pence or Biden was, nor anyone else in government, for whom all the rules apply. These rules really DONT apply to a President - whether Clinton, Bush, Obama or Trump. They are special. Obama has TONS of docs he took with him that were not mentioned.

And all these docs were packed up by GSA and catalogued and moved to Miami - National Archives KNEW about them and where they were. The Biden docs they had NO IDEA existed or the location.

The Clinton precedence just makes me shake my head at this "clown show"

This DOJ is transparently dirty. The same day as Burisma scandal is getting confirmed the Stasi comes out with this Trump indictment.
