So the only guilty people are people who are indicted? That’s naive even for a MENSA candidate like yourself. Furthermore Trumps yet to be convicted of anything as of the time of your comment. Is there no presumption of innocence left or are we Venezuela?

Well my God. If stories are coming out then they must be true. They should go ahead and start getting him a cell ready at Leavenworth. When discussing the OTHER gangsters financial dealings, even Fox has the common sense/decency to use the word “allegedly”. You should try the same restraint.

I don’t have much sympathy for Trump facing consequences on this he was a moron on how he acted and behaved. But this is freaking ridiculous and so damn over the top it’s got banana republics going daaaaaammmmmm…

And for puddinhead to keep popping out more classified docs going all the way back to his VP stint like a Billy Mays pitch without a hint of caring by HIS DOJ puts the icing on the banana republic behavior.

First off, I'm not "you guys". I have no political allegiance. I've said in other posts that if a thorough search was made of the residents of the past Presidents, and yes that includes Bush, more classified material would probably be found.

Second, the charge as I understand it is the mishandling of classified materials. I get you want to argue this different levels BS, but classified is classified. We know of at least 3 politicians who have done the same, Clinton, Biden, and Pence, yet no charges. Not even a peep for the latter two. If "no one is above the law", then they should be facing charges. But, of course, some people ARE actually above the law.

It seems you're perfectly happy with the law being applied based on politics. I, otoh, want, as another poster pointed out, consistency. The law should be applied equally, and politics should not matter.

We know the govt was weaponized against then candidate Trump and later President Trump. Now they are going after him again.

Why do some of you think this time it is legitimate?

Don't really care if it is legit or not? The cat is out of the bag. If roles were reversed Trump would do the same thing. So it is a Wash.
More indictments to follow.
As this one progresses no matter how long it takes leaks will be done of tapes, more witnesses will come forward and there will be nothing to stop it. Trump will be charged with more crimes.
If Trump is Elected President then we will see Impeachment proceedings start immediately.
It's a 360 degree political cycle that will continue to run 24/7.
Who knows what the end state is going to be.
Witch Hunt or Not it makes no difference and it maybe time to use a different Defense.
It may be a Witch Hunt but it does not change the fact that he may or may not of committed a Crime.
The Democrats are just call him out and DJT is calling BS. The problem with DJT is most of it, if true, is self inflicted and worsened by the fact he cannot keep his mouth shut.

I know where you're going with this. The Biden Administration is weaponizing the bureaucracy against political opposition. You know it. I know it. Most reasonable minded people know it.

So are you suggesting that knowing they are doing this, if they were to hopefully get ousted within the next 18 months that their behavior not get investigated and the ones behind it not be brought to justice? There have been many signs. This is banana republic stuff.

He lied about the documents. He shared some of the documents with other people, apparently. The FBI isn't responsible for the indictment.. A grand jury assessed the evidence--as compiled by the special prosecutor---and made the decision to indict. The FBI merely collected the documents.

Trump's corrupt and deeply dishonest, and has always thought he was above the law. No one is above the law.

This is a self-defeating post.

Think about it: If you really thought it was “banana republic stuff,” you wouldn’t be crying for the exact same thing to happen when the tables are turned. Or you really do think it’s banana republic stuff and want it done to your benefit anyways, which I guess could be morally worse, but equally self-defeating.

Even if this is law enforcement being weaponized, none of you thinks it’s criminal. None of you even thinks it’s impeachable conduct. We know this because you were perfectly fine with Trump trying to do to Biden what you now claim Biden is doing to Trump and you’re literally calling for a future president to do it again.

There is no moral high ground here. It’s just a bunch of sports fans crying about the refs and demanding that their team pay them off next time.
